some tiny dinks and marks on rear case a disappointment but display set up operations fine
some tiny dinks and marks on rear case a disappointment but display set up operations fine. Not tried phone yet as waiting for a sim card(global)and 64GB micro-SGD card. One thing I'm not sure about relates to turning off the devoice; the power button at the back is sometimes slow to operate-instructions say depress and hold until screen (power off) appears but its not as fast and reliable as expected. Maybe there is a problem here which I'm monitoring. If it is indeed a fault with the phone it will have to be returned. One big disappointment is the change of the 'home/return/multi-function icons at bottom of screen. It appears this 'lollipop' version of the D855 has changed these icons to a circle, square and triangle. I see from checking out other users on Android forums that many of us think this is a retrograde step by LG to impose this change with no consultation etc or evident way of returning to the original more 'explanatory' icons So much for the much hyped 'ability to customise' the phone!!. Hopefully some future software update will enable users to choose to keep new icons or return to what are clearly the preferred original ones.

Fantastic phone for the price
First, as someone is sure to ask, I bought this from seller HEARTBIT who is based in Portugal. The phone was despatched very quickly, and was delivered by DHL on the 8th day after ordering (I ordered on a Bank Holiday weekend.) I emailed the seller a couple of times, and the response time was very good, answers were always helpful and polite.OK, so about the phone... It appears to be the Czech version, so the included user manual is not in English. The charger is also not designed for use in the UK, but a suitable one was included by HEARTBIT. In the box is the phone, with cover already on, instruction manual, headphones, charger, USB cable, and the battery. In case you are wondering, I had no problem registering the phone with LG via their website, so it looks like they will honour any warranty (I hope I never have to find out!)The phone is 32GB with 3GB RAM, and the back cover incorporates a wireless charging (Qi) circuit, so you can wirelessly charge the phone right out of the box (I don't this this is possible with the Asian version.) When you turn it on for the first time, you will have to change the language to English (UK), and this is very easy to do, even if you can't read Czech. I was expecting the phone to be running KitKat 4.4.4, but it was already loaded with Lollipop 5.0. No OTA updates were available when I checked. The phone feels just right in the hand; it's comfortable, not at all slippery, and pleasantly shaped. It certainly doesn't feel like a 5.5 inch phone. In fact, it's only slightly larger than my Lumia 735 with 4.7 inch screen. The controls on the back of the phone are easy and intuitive to use, more so than controls on the side or tops. The only niggle I have is that the volume up button is a little too close to the camera lens, so I did inadvertently touch the lens a couple of times. One thing I don't like about most modern phones is the ring tones. I want my phone to sound like a British telephone - RING-RING... RING-RING... - but there isn't such a tone on this phone, more's the pity. I'd settle for a US/Canadian RIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGGG, but no, there's not one of those either!I found no lag in the device, but I'm no power user. The screen is superb, brightness is adequate for my needs (I don't often use phones in broad daylight), and everything works as I expected.A year ago this phone was around £550, now it's under £300. You really won't find a better phone for the money - Qi charging, micro SD expansion, replaceable battery, IR blaster, NFC, DLNA, GPS, Knock code... Don't hesitate, just go and buy one!--------23/06/2015OK, I've had the phone for a few weeks, and it remains a great device that is a pleasure to use. However, there are a couple of oddities. There is a curious omission - the default email app doesn't interact with the notification LED, so unless you turn the screen on, you won't know if you've received an email. The notification LED does work with the default messaging app as well as with Telegram, and others. Third party emails apps also work with the LED, so why LG overlooked this is odd.If the camera is completely closed down (so that it doesn't appear in the recent apps list) when you restart the phone and open the camera, it will ask if you want to save images to the SD card. If, however, you restart when the camera is running, then this prompt doesn't appear when the camera is opened. It's not a major issue, but one you may like to know about.Despite these niggles, I continue to rate the LG G3 as a 5 star handset.

True Value For Money !!
I got my LG G3 - 32GB - Titan color in UK from HEARTBIT seller. Amazon committed for delivery between 7 to 14 days whereas it arrived on 7th day. This was dispatched from Portugal and hence has 2 adaptors - European and UK. Apart from this box has charger and manual. It has 3GB RAM with Android version 5.0 Lollipop. 4 STARS (and not 5) because on DAY1 I was not able to download any more apps, after 2, from Google Play Store. But the issue got resolved after clearing the cache, thanks to GOOGLE !!

What a phone!
Best ☎ I've ever had. Slick design, a snappy processor, useful features you won't find on a Samsung or an iPhone for that matter. Very little bloatware and the features that are present are actually useful. This is an intelligent phone; if you keep getting phone calls from the same number it will ask you if you want to save the number. Quick note allows you to make a quick note without opening an app which saves time. You can write down someone's ☎ number with your finger whilst taking a call. Pretty cool. Suggested text features images too as you can see in my post. You can measure your activity level and calories burnt. It does all this without a fuss. Shall I go on? My daughter wants me to give her the phone but I think I am going to hang on to it for a while. The price has dropped so now's the time to grab one, you won't regret it.

Very good for the price
Got this for 175 refurbished. Excellent value at that price. It's a lot better than the 16gb version. Runs much smoother with 3gb of ram and the extra storage is also useful. Good camera, decent screen and the option to use a spare battery. Battery life is 3.5 hours of screen on time which is a little low. Using an extended battery doubles this to 7 hours which is excellent. Easily get 1.5 days of use, maybe 2. Crucially it won't fail to last the day with this. Makes phone bigger and heavier. But you get used to it. The next question should be is it worth getting the g4. I'd be very tempted given its recent price reduction. The screen, processor and camera have all been improved. But if you want to spend less its hard to go wrong with g3. But I wouldn't pay much over 200 for it.

Great phone but not amazing battery life
Great phone but the battery is not as good as they say. It's meant to last nearly two days but that was not the case. Other than that it'd a great phone packed with brilliant features.
