Really good for holding fingers together without irritation
Really good for holding fingers together without irritation. Great for recovering from injuries and helping to stop over use or bending during recovery that could tear ligaments if done too fast (good at night for reducing finger clenching when paired with carpal tunnel night splints). I moved from a full hand splint, to a finger splint to these to nothing over several months after a tear in a sagittal band on one hand. I still use these and/or the finger splint if I am going to be doing something that could strain the join as the tendon is held in place by weaker scar tissue now in place of the sagittal band ligament. A nice alternative to surgery. Does not interfere with typing the way some splints can.A pack of several means some can be worn while bathing, or washing dishes. They hold up fairly well and can be rinsed and left to dry. I think with regular use they will last about 1-2 years before the soft inside wears out. After heavy use for 8 months my original started to show a little wear. I originally got 2 at a much higher price(and promptly lost one for 6 months) from my doctor, but having them in bulk is best so they can dry if they get wet and one can be dedicated to show and one to dishes etc. A really wonderful product with excellent materials. Beats using a scrunchy any day (what I used before making it to the doctor).

Comfortable and effective
Standard for all my reviews: When reviewing products, I always remain objective and honest about the product or service. I always review with information that I feel others would like to know about the product as I always assume what I'm writing will influence for or against the purchase. I always try to go above and beyond surface characteristics and input into quality, value and application. Most importantly, I will always end the review with an answer as to whether I'd purchase the product again which I believe is the most critical question pertaining to the item. To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know!Let's not get overly complex or critical here. If you're looking at these it's because you are wanting stabilization for finger issues. They do the job very well and are comfortable. I like to wear them a particular way to maximize comfort so that the strap is in just the right position but after a few uses, they are easy to put on and off. They do tend to stretch a bit but that is expected, you can just tighten them a bit more using the velcro. These are great little devices for stabilization, especially considering the price.

Comfortable and effective, with unbeatable convenience. If you've been instructed to buddy tape your fingers, GET THESE.
These are the perfect solution to buddy-taping fingers. They go on and off easily and provide plenty of support yet are stretchy enough to not feel overly restrictive. They are soft and comfortable, even for wearing all day and night. Plus, you can put them on in different ways depending on whether you want space or padding between your fingers or not. I bought a multi-pack and when they got dirty or sweaty I put on another pair. I also carried some spares with me. They are washable but they do get beat up. I wore these for several months and a 25 pack was just about right. If you read another review and are tempted to feel guilty for spending money on this ingenious product, think about this... You are probably reading this because you have broken fingers, right? Who wants to mess around on a DIY sewing project with broken fingers? Not me. Plus, these are not made out of the scratchy stiff velcro you'd buy at the fabric store. It's has medical grade comfortable neoprene backing, with a soft cushy texture. Don't waste your time on a hobby project with crappy materials, just buy these and focus on healing instead.

Great Product but shipping is out of line
I play volleyball and tape my first two fingers together and bought the product so I didn't have to use tape. The first thing I will say is the product works. You get 5 loop straps and I use 2 of these on one hand. I didn't realize there were loops on the straps to put your fingers through and just wrapped them like they were tape the first time and they worked fine although they work better when used properly. I've used one set about 4 times now and haven't had to was them yet.$20 for the straps seemed a little high but I feel it's worth it so far. However, I will say, the shipping prices is a complete joke and rip off. The actual package of straps is about the size of a post card and doesn't weight much more, so $10 shipping is crazy.

Helped my broken finger heal
After the buddy tape my doctor put on my broken finger wore out, I got this buddy wrap. It’s sturdy. My finger healed and the wrap is still in good shape!

Great ... While They Last (About a Month)
I was recommended these as an alternative to using plain old medical tape, and in that sense they've been a success. Instead of using up 30 or so days-worth of tape, I used up 5 of these bands. However, by the end of those 30 days the plastic part that attaches to the velcro was sticking out on all of the bands. Why is that a problem?Well, you have these things wrapped around your fingers, so if a hard plastic part sticks out, it constantly colides with whatever your hand passes. Plus, if you're like me you'll find yourself constantly trying to press them flat, which makes for a new (annoying) habit. In terms of enviornmental impact I'm honestly not sure which is worse: using these or using 30 days of tape. But either way, don't buy these expecting them to last longer than that: they're too cheaply made.P.S. Also the actual bands themselves sort of shrink in places after use. So you wind up with bands that hug a bit too tightly (at the parts that shrink).

Much better than tape
I had a tendon slip off my index finer knuckle and the hand surgeon recommended buddy taping the index finger to the middle finger, as my index finger would not elevate upwards past horizontal. I was using kinesiology tape but with hand washing and all, it was difficult. The I saw these. They are great and comfortable. I take them off for hand washing, if they do get wet, I blot them dry and keep a dry back up and switch. The foam is comfortable, but does wear out in about a week. Seems to work better putting one finger in the loop then wrapping the "tail" of the loop around the second finger.

Great for “buddy tapping” fingers together!
Great product! My son has been using these for several months while practicing and playing basketball. They work way better then taping the fingers together!
