The picture doesn't do this set justice. It makes it look like there's not much size difference between the two small "plants" (yellow pots) and the others (brown pots), and there's no sense of scale. Most of this kind of building kit offer an array of very small plants. In this case, the two small ones are indeed quite small, like one who collects these sets might expect. The others, however, are actually quite large, relatively speaking - the tallest is probably 6" or more in height and maybe 4" in diameter, which dwarfs the 1-2" little guys. They're really very impressive.Another interesting this about this set is that the brown pot can be made two different ways, with the plants arranged slightly differently depending on which version of the pot was constructed. Both pots are pretty large, comparatively, and add a lot of the height to the entire finished plant, and they're fairly involved to build. I tried to improvise my own pot design with minimal success, but a clever designer could make some neat designs given just how many bricks are provided for the pots.I have three complaints about this set. One is that I was missing one of the small bricks for one of the pots, though I was able to dip into my extra block supply to remedy this, and it wasn't an essential brick so it didn't ruin the build or anything. My second complaint is that two of the bricks in the set were deformed, like not enough plastic had been injected into the mould; however, the bricks still function fine, and the defects aren't visible when the build is finished, so this is also of little consequence to me. My third and largest complaint is the excessive packaging. Everything comes in a nice box, and each plant's pieces and directions come in its own bag. This is fine. However, inside each bag are two other bags, one for the pot and one for the plant. I'm not sure why the exterior bags were needed. IDK, maybe this is a nitpick, too.Regardless, it's a good set and better than it looks in the pic. Directions were easy to follow and clearly legible, and the end product is quite attractive.

This building set is way cooler in person! The picture makes the plants look all the same size, but they're not. The small ones are tiny, and the big ones are really big – like 6 inches tall! They look awesome.You can even build the brown pot two different ways, which changes how the plants look. The pots are big and a little tricky to build, but you get a lot of bricks to work with, so you can even design your own pot if you want to.But overall, this is a great set! The instructions were easy to follow, and the plants look amazing when they're done. The colors are really bright, and the bricks stick together really well.

Overall, we like it. My wife and I get kits like these to build with the kids. The basic fittings are fine. The pots for the plants are straightforward and hold together well. However, the finer details, like the petals and buds, DO NOT like to stay attached. It's a real pain. If you don't mind gluing the parts, then they are nice looking kits. But, the fittings aren't perfect, which can be frustrating to work with. However, pretty good for the price, for sure.

Looks great. Easy to understand the instructions. Fun to build. Like that you have two choices for the pot part of the plant.
