Nice size and function for a beginner
Nice little book press. Bamboo plates are very smooth and splinter free. Easy to use, functions as it should. Good price IMO

Works really well but there is a downside
This product was overall, really good, it worked how it was supposed to. I think this product was easy to use and didn't have much set up, but one thing I would like to note is how it bends over time. If you clamped a book too hard, it would bend slightly and not apply even pressure, which means you have to take off the bent board and flip it over. I would definitely suggest this for any beginners but based off the results I have seen so far, I do not think it is that durable.

Comes with so much!
This comes with so much stuff. For the price it’s well worth it. The quality is great and the size is perfect for books that are around 6x9 or less.

Great tool for repairing & rebinding books. Easy to use and set up. I'm very happy with this book press.

Good for beginner
Yes, had everything needed for beginner. Working well in my beginners class so far.

Does not include “everything”
For an “it includes everything” kit, I sure did have to buy a lot of extra stuff. The things provided work well and the press seems to be good quality. I haven’t had any issues. I had to purchase book cloth, end papers, more glue, and corner protectors as this kit does not include any of those. It also does not include vinyl for the lettering on the cover, but I expected that.

Book rescue kit.
Great starter kit, good quality tools. All you'll need is a book in distress and good quality acid-neutral book binding glue.
