We have had this bag for our small shih tzu for about two weeks and use it about twice a week to transport him on the NYC subways- while the size is nice - the quality is pretty cheap. The inside leash part has already torn off (AFTER TWO WEEKS). ALSO - the wrong color was sent, I see this is a pretty common review for this item/seller. We needed the bag asap as arrival was on the day we adopted our dog- so we kept it. I'd recommend purchasing a bag elsewhere, I'm thinking it will be any day until the actual straps break (they are already fraying).

I have a 12 lbs Morkie with a kind of long body. The description said that he would fit but it was a little small. It also isn't really built to handle that much weight, so if you have a lighter dog you should be okay, but at 12 lbs. it was really starting to hurt my shoulder. My dog also doesn't love being in a bag, and although it has a built in leash to prevent the dog from jumping out, he could still stick both of his front legs out very easily and it made carrying him difficult.

I got this bag for my dog, and it is very comfortable, light, and great quality! There is a leash connected to the bag for extra security, and its so cute. All I have to say is that my dog is long and skinny so she can easily slip out of the bag if I don't keep an eye on her. I wish the hole for the head was a little smaller.

My dog loves this tote and gets so excited every time that I bring it out that I have to keep it hidden. It's a great tote, maybe not for heavier dogs (there is no support for your shoulders but you could add some if you needed it) and the additional pockets on the outside are very useful. It has a clip on the inside to keep your dog secure- it's a little long for mine but better long than short. The base is sturdy and I feel secure carrying her in it. I add a towel because it's canvas and not very soft. I especially like this tote because it let's me carry my small dog without looking ridiculous like most bags for toy dogs.

The 9 week old labradoodle puppy is not old enough to go on leash walks, however I like to take her out and about. The DEXDOG portable pet carrier is perfect because the puppy can see where we are going/get fresh air, without the confinement of a traditional pet carrier! I should mention that I had ordered the olive pet carrier and instead received the nathral colored one.

To say I am dipleased is an understatement. First of all, I ordered this bag in tan and they sent me the green version. I overlooked that mistake only to open the bag and find that the leash hook was completely broken. There is absolutely no way for me to repair this and its unfortunate because that was one the major selling features for me.The bag is decent quality and very lightweight but they definitely skimped on some item like the fraying corners and cheap leash. This isn’t a piece that would last more than a year of constistent use.Needless to say, I will be returning this item. Again, super disappointed as I was looking forward to using this!

Cute bag but I had to return it. My dog is quite small and the opening around her neck was too large. Perhaps offer same product in different sizes?

Loved it, it was even though it practically white in person and shrunk on cold wash. Would have preferred more like the photo.
