Power WatchdogPWD30, Bluetooth Surge Protector, 30 Amp, Portable, 14 Inch

Have been using this for about a month on my seasonal site and no complaints. Easy to setup and link the app to monitor energy usage. Would recommend to anyone looking for a decent surge suppressor. I purchased the refurbished option and it looked new to me.

Recommend by a friend. I was having intermittent power issues to my camper and wanted this to protect the electrical system.. The power issue was finally resolved but I have peace of mind knowing that my camper is protected all the time now from power surges or low voltages

Does what it's supposed to do, easy to set up, a good value at the price I paid.

The bluetooth app is a big plus as you can see basic information about Voltage and Power remotely. The unit is build solidly with easy to use handles. The unit LED display is helpful as it quickly confirms the power is on, the right polarities and power is ready to be used. There was a thunderstorm over the RV park with lightning nearby. Even though there were no direct hits, there were momentary brown outs with likely surges. Zero damage in our RV or to the unit.

For some reason it won't connect to the app on 2 of my devices, but it dies connect to my phone so I can look at whats happening with it. It works pretty well reads instantly and accurately so far. It also makes me feel protected.

Looks good and the app works good, limited Bluetooth range that’s for sure. I like the idea of a replaceable surge module. The quality looks good but time will tell how it works.

Identified our inverter generator as having hot and neutral reversed (instead of no neutral-ground bond) but confined to pass power, which for me is good. The Bluetooth integration is a little kludgy and the app seems to have been abandoned with promises of features "coming soon" but it works for what I need it for as gives me an online ammeter (via the app) on my 30amp Shore power mains.

Every RVer should consider to purchase a Surge Protector for their RV if you don't it could cost you a lot of money. Before we plug the RV into the powers source on the site you plug in your Surge Protector 1st to make sure everything is okay

I really like how you can monitor how much you are drawing at the post, really gives you an idea of how much power certain things use. Only downside if that the green leds are very bright during the night, but thats all.

I didn't give 5 stars because I have no way of testing how good it actually works. I haven't had a bad RV park or lightening strike to test it. It seems well made, very sturdy.
