Highly Recommended
I've got a couple of Bessey band clamps that must be the genesis of this design as they're almost indistinguishable. Even the corner clips with their adjustable 'feet' are the same and the fact that you can feed the band through the corner clips so they don't fall off during glue-up is a life saver. These clamps generate a huge amount of force and those corner clips allow you to concentrate the force where you probably want it... the corners. The fact that the feet on the clips move means you can glue up projects with 3, 4, 5, 6... sides and still make use of those corner clips.I use these clamps as part of my kit for slim shaker doors and having a couple more will be a huge help. The Bessey version of this clamp is just slightly more expensive, so you'll have to decide if the name brand is worth a couple of extra bucks.

Excellent clamps, identical to the famous brand-name clamps
A strap clamp like this is invaluable for building things like boxes, drawer boxes, or anything that has 2 or more sides that need to be held together while gluing or nailing. I've had a brand name clamp like this for years, but having more means I can clamp a deep box more securely by clamping in several places instead of just one.The 4 cauls that come with each clamp have pivoting "jaws", allowing for use on nearly any shape project such as triangular, rectangular, pentagonal, and so on. Using 4 cauls allows for clamping a square or rectangle, but adding cauls from the other clamp allows for clamping an object with as many sides as the cauls you install on the strap. Thus, you'd be able to clamp an octagonal shape with one clamp using all of the included cauls. The 23 foot strap length is enough to encircle just about any project.I noticed that these clamps are nearly identical to the famous brand-name clamps of the same design. Same strap, cauls and clamping mechanism. Currently, they're very close in pricing, so I'd recommend buying whichever is cheaper since they're both virtually the same.

Mostly plastic; bulky; but works well to tighten securely
This works as it’s supposed to. I like the crank that allows you to take up excess strap quickly. Once you’ve taken up most of the slack, the screw handle tightens the strap as much as you need. I like that the crank handle is reversible. You just pull it out and switch it to the other side if you need to get it out of the way. I put this on a tall kitchen chair I was repairing and was able to get the strap nice and tight. This should work well for clamping odd shaped items. The strap seems to be well made. Most of the parts are plastic so time will tell how long they last and how durable they are when used under harsh conditions. One drawback is that the clamping mechanism is MASSIVE. That may affect how useful it is in some situations. For now, this is working just fine. Nice clamp.

Great Band Clamps
I am very pleased with these band clamps. Overall construction appears to be of good quality, certainly on par with other tools and clamps at this price point. The instructions are somewhat minimal, but operation of a clamp like this is pretty self-explanatory. The "Vario clips" for clamping corners work well, automatically adjusting to the corner being clamped and have internal tabs that restrain the clip to the strap. The hand crank woks well to retract the strap and initially tighten it. The hand screw to apply clamping pressure turns smoothly and allows you to apply considerable clamping force. The clamps are a bit large and heavy, so these might not be the best option for small or delicate projects (like small picture frames), but they will work well on typically sized project encountered in furniture, box and frame making. In the past, I have used ratchet straps as makeshift band clamps with somewhat mixed results. These dedicated band clamps are a major upgrade, and I am sure that I will find many uses for them.

Works Great!
This clamp works great and is super easy to use! It is nice for clamping up irregular shapes or boxes. It is nice that it has a tensioning screw to make sure that you can clamp up your projects pretty tight.

Good for hobbyist
Getting a large clamp for those bigger projects is a bit expensive but I feel like this clamp fills that market where you need a bigger clamp for less. This camp has been so far doing great for me. I have used it to glue up some square frames and find this useful. Make sure to check the thickness of the strap and see if it will fit your needs as it is on the thicker side

Better than the old style strap clamps
I gave up using strap clamps a long time ago. They were an utter pain in the neck to use. So when I saw this clamp with a reel I thought it might be worth a try. This clamp works a lot better than trying to align and take the kinks out of the old style straps, all the while worrying the joints would start to set before you got them in place. The reel is the key to faster setup, and has changed my attitude towards this type of clamp. The pivoting strap clips are a big improvement too.It looks essentially like a Bessey clone, and costs the same.

Nice clamps, good action and tightening. They feel strong. DIY but probably not commercial
I've been using ratcheting load straps to clamp things together in the past. It works fine but it's inconvenient and you sometimes have to unclamp to get the strap in the right place. These solve all the problems because they will tighten anywhere in the length of the strap. Then you twist the handle and tighten them further. The first few times, the loosened because the strap stretched but now they don't stretch any more. If you buy these just wrap them around something and leave them overnight so they stretch. The build quality isn't great but it's not terribe either. These are not meant for a commercial shop that uses them constantly. For a DIY guy like me, they're fine. I like using them and they're more useful than I first thought.I like them and I'd get them again.
