This chenille yarn is on the super skinny side, but nice quality and plays well with my other yarns. I always like having small amounts of colors to use as accents (or small amigurumi) so this set of chenille yarns appealed to me. The set comes very tightly vacuum sealed, and includes a 4 mm crochet hook, stitch markers, and a few safety eyes in addition to the skeins of yarn. I did notice right away that this chenille is skinny, almost at worsted weight (perhaps veering on bulky). Most of the chenille yarn I use is in the bulky/super bulky category, so I was unsure of how well it would play with thicker yarns. As it turns out, quite well! I have had a very easy time working with this chenille yarn: no problems with magic rings, minimal shed, and easy to frog. Overall a breeze to work with. It also plays nicely with thicker yarns like Hobbii Baby Snuggle, provided you stick with the same crochet hook (I used 4 mm). Despite my initial reservations, I’m quite happy with the results of how my amigurumis are turning out. I’d definitely consider this set, especially if you want especially skinny chenille yarn. Even if you have thicker yarn that you’d like to combine with this set, you can get it to work for you.

I'm going to have so much fun using this yarn! It's so soft to the touch it will be a pleasure to work with. It doesn't say that it's sport weight or worsted, etc., but it looks and feels rather like a lightweight 4. Each skein is about 197 yards per skein, 3.5 ounces, so for a chenille, it's pretty light. It feels like velvet, so it will make warm and snuggly hats for children and adults as well. Inside the package were a couple of bonus items. One of them is a 4.0mm crochet hook. The other is a small package of stitch markers & safety eyes. The safety eyes will be used if I decide to make little stuffed animals for the grands.

This is a beautiful and versatile pack of very soft chenille yarn in a multitude of colors. Each skein is approximately 197 yards, which is a decent size to make stuffed animals, hats, multicolored scarves, etc. The yarn is 100% acrylic, therefore, is machine washable and dryable. It can be used in any yarn craft such as knitting and crocheting. The set also includes an ergonomic crochet hook and some pop-in eyes for stuffed animals.I gave the set to our daughter-in-law who was delighted with it. (She's the family crocheter). At $30 for all 12 skeins ($2.50 apiece), this is a great price for someone who likes different color options.

It came with a 4mm crochet hook and bits for amigurumi. It’s a thinner velvet yarn, I think a similar weight to a baby velvet yarn I’ve used before. I’m looking forward to working with it, it’s so soft!

This yarn is so soft and my wife really enjoys knitting with it. It is easy to rip out stitches if necessary because it does not get tangled up. This is a great yarn for making amigurumi toys.
