Place Matters: The Church for the Community

I have never heard of the authors but as a church planter the description was intriguing. Best decision of the year. The book is so practical about reaching the community. I recommend for anyone who wants to bridge the gap between the pew and the neighborhood.

Great read for anyone interested in missions, and the dynamics around urban environments.

I rarely read an entire book all the way through but I found this book, Place Matters, to be inspiring and practical. As the director of City to City Miami we train church planters and it was very helpful to see in clear ways how the locality of community matters and how we might consider contextualization on every level as a Christian on mission. HIGHLY Recommend for everyone to read this book.
