Totally waste of time and money
I bought the 64GB drive to use for my iphone 6. The iOS is up to date. The problems I ran into are very similar to another reviewer. I copied 6 videos (very slow and interface not very intuitive) to the drive then it wouldn't do it any more, stopped around 4GB. I went to the PC and downloaded all the videos then copied a few to the drive. It seemed to be successful. When I plugged it into the iphone and checked. They new files showed up. However, when I tried to play them, it wouldn't do anything. The ones that were successfully copied originally could still be played. I then plugged it back to the PC to see if those new files can be played. It said the format is not readable and it is corrupted. Afterwards, when it plugged it back to the phone, none of the files showed up! Oh well, money and time went down to the drain!Other problems or inconveniences:- need to remove the phone case (a thin case) before I can plug it in- can't plug it in to my PC in the front since the body is wider than my other drives, need to use the USB port in the back of the PC, very inconvenient for me

Not good.
I bought this because I had over 5000 photos on my iPhone and I needed to free up some space. I bought the 128G size. I could not get a large number of photos to transfer from my phone to this flash drive. It will copy any new ones when I press 'backup photos'. The banners communicating with one are written in Japanese, I think. So I tried the user manual included, and it appears to be in English but makes no sense, as if translated by Google. So I plugged it in to my computer to transfer the photos and it took 20 hours without interruptions to transfer about 1000 photos. The first photo I tried to use off the USBdrive had blank streaks in it.

It is very happy with this purchase.
It is very happy with purchase. I don't have memory on my iphone for a long time. yesterday I have solved this problem with the help of this flash card. Quickly and easily I could move the photos and video from phone on the computer. At last I have solved the problem. It really does work!!! I just plug it in my iphone, download some app to read it and I'm able to transfer files, and pics. It's a very versatile USB drive to have if you have a lot of stuffs on your phone and wanna free up some space without deleting them.

USEFUL!!!
This is a delightful shopping experience because of the great product, nice price and warm?service! It works great with my iPhone X and iPhone 7!! I love to travel and take photos, so I disturb myself to how to save my photos without laptop. The purpose this was purchased for was to download just over 4000?photos from my phone. This flash drive helps me a lot because I even can directly take photos through the app which was required to download. Very easy to use, just plug it in and it has you download the mobile app then it asks to set up auto back-up feature. Very quick download speed which was a surprise. I was able to then remove it from the phone and plug into my laptop and transfer the photos and place them where I want.

Dysfunctional and slow
After installing the software on my iPhone 7 (fully updated on 7/2/18 to iOS 11.4), I tried copying a bunch of photos that were on my iPhone onto the drive. After one file copied, it froze and did nothing for 5 minutes. I turned my phone off, turned it back on, tried the same thing, with the same result.Since I kind of need a flash drive right now and this drive was only a few dollars more expensive than other normal flash drives of the same size, I thought I'd just try to use it as a normal flash drive and not worry about interfacing it with my iPhone (or hope that a future app update will solve this problem). So, I copied a bunch of files to the drive. The copying was extremely slow, and then it stopped when it got to a file that was over 4GB, which of course meant the USB file system was FAT32, not NTFS. I cancelled the copying by clicking on the copy window's X. After successfully canceling, Windows reported that the drive was corrupt.Since I had to reformat the drive anyway (my last hope for the flash drive to be readable), I reformatted the flash drive with an NTFS system. Hours and hours later, it was done, and I figured the new file system might speed up the file transfer rate. It didn't. Although the 4GB limit was of course no longer there, the so-called "USB 3.0" performed more like USB 2.0. It was maybe 3-5 MB per second.Do you have a protective case on your phone? You'll need to take it off every time you want to plug this in. Unfortunately, the lightning plug that sticks out of the drive doesn't stick out far enough to compensate for the extra width of even the thinnest phone cases. The whole point of this device for me was to make it more convenient (not less convenient) to transfer files from my phone to my PC.

Awesome Gadget
This little USB thing helped me move my favorite videos about nature and nature related activities from my Galaxy phone to my new iPhone.

Don't waste your money gambling that this will work
Instructions were in a foreign print on a very small couple inch piece of paper thrown in. Never got it to work.

Doesn’t work
I can’t get this to work at all. My iPhone will not recognize it as plugged in external drive. I downloaded the app as instructed. Not sure what else to do. What a waste of money
