This is a really beautiful little set. The colours are lovely and the quality is really good. I did remove a star for the fact that the cutlery stand assembles loosely, so the dowel often slips through the hole and the cutlery drops off. I used some superglue to stick this in place. The same goes for the plate rack, it slots together like a jigsaw but doesn’t stay in place, which is not ideal for my (just turned) 3 year old, so I had to glue this as well.

This wooden tea set is really lovely, and so cute. The items are all very well made, with the wood being smooth and soft to the touch, with no sharp edges. They are also well painted. It is such a great set for stimulating young minds, and encouraging imaginative play. The dish dryer has been a particular highlight for my children.

Small annoying flaw - the cutter love you stand doesn’t fit together well and I had to glue it together before handing to my child for safety.

This set is very sweet. Nicely made with rounded edges to the pieces. However, I was surprised as to how small some of the items were on opening the box. The cups in particular, are tiny. (see photo taken with a tape reel to show scale. They are smaller than egg cups) Almost too small to be comfortable holding. I know that children are small but they tend to like usable items to play with. The cutlery is fine, child sized and the plates OK, although too small to use with the standard play food you can buy. A bit sad as this would have been a nice gift for my grandchild. As it is, it is not a completely satisfactory toy.
