Maternal Child Nursing Care

I asked if the book came with the access code, and was told that it did. However it does NOT come with the access code for adaptive quizzing. If you need the adaptive quizzing I wouldn’t waste your time.

Book is alright nothing super useful but, it’s a textbook. Good graphics. The online section was writing by a 5 year old, there are so many mistakes out profs told us not to use it

The media could not be loaded.  I understand that this book was supposed to be a rental. However, I expected a used book with a few highlights here and there. I did not expect to have over 50% of the book to be highlighted and in some parts just completely defaced. Its an utter disappointment. This book needs to be pulled from circulation. Trying to read and focus on what is important would be too distracting with this book.

I had to get this book for my nursing program and it is cheaper hear than at the bookstore but I dont like the book itself. Chapters are so long and so repetitive. The material isnt broken down great either.

I won't be using this book very long, so I don't mind much, but this book did not come in great condition. The spine of the book is cracked, and already had packing tape holding it together. I had to apply extra tape around the spine and between a few of the pages to prevent it from breaking in half or losing pages. The upside to this is that I don't feel guilty for highlighting in this book, and for me, that makes it worth it.

Questions and answers do not match. I used the study guide for a few chapters and stopped. I couldn’t afford to study the wrong material. My peds/OB instructor/NP told us to stop using it.

If you are looking for a BRAND NEW book, look elsewhere. I ordered it on Amazon because of the price and you get what you paid for. I expected an undamaged and wrapped book with the access code like all new books come with. I am extremely disappointed and now I have to order a new one ASAP from a differ vendor and hope it will come in 3 days when my class starts.
