What I was looking for.

I bought this Bible for oldest my son's First Communion, and continue buying it for all of my children and godchildren when they make their First Communion as well.After asking my children who own a copy if they like it as much as I do, they all stated they really do. My oldest said he likes how easily it answered his questions, and the fact that even though it doesn't come with Bible tabs, it does have black areas on the outside edges that distinguish between the various books, thus making it almost like it contains "built in" tabs. This makes adding Bible tabs (if desired) a breeze. My second son likes these reasons as well as the font being a size that is easily read. The third said he liked the explanations put on his level, as he is a bit younger than the other two.We use it along with our home-schooling religion class and in our Bible reading.This makes a fabulous gift for a child or an adult who is just coming into the fullness of the faith, and will be a lasting gift with many answers to questions that may come along in the future.

I received this Bible as a gift a number of years ago and purchased this one as a confirmation gift. I like this Bible because if you are looking for scriptural references for a Catholic doctrine it gives some good starting points. Also, if you were looking to start reading more of the Bible reading the Bible the scriptural references might provide oof starting points. While there is nothing too remarkable about about the physical product- no fancy cover or thick pages it does hold up well to regular use.

Love the foot notes but the pages are incredibly thin. Therefore the Bible is very flimsy.

I bought it mostly for the question and answer inserts about our beautiful Catholic Faith. It is a good size for car or home.

The content and format of this Bible incorporating the teachings of the Catholic Church is excellent! The only reason I did not rate this five stars is because the cover does not do this Bible justice. There should have been an option to buy this with a leather cover.

I like the extra teachings and Catholic doctrines. Also the printing is fine and the light weight

Very good bible, especially for people with questions, gave a few away as gifts for rcia programs and they loved it.There are pages intermitent in the book with questions we all have re: Catholic view on world issues. Very good.

Well presented Catholic Bible, with a clear translation. What sets it apart are the insert questions about the Catholic Faith answered with reference to scripture and the Catholic Catechism. The cover does need to be reinforced with backing using adhesive fil or similar, because this book is quite limp to hold, but it is good for those studying their faith and holy scripture.
