A way to power USB devices, not phones.
A lot of reviewers are unclear on how this device measures output - it does put out the power it says, but if you put a load on it with a small cable, you're not going to get the correct voltage or current out of the other end. This isn't a "smart charger" - this is like a 8 port wall wart with a display. I use this to power USB devices like fans and lights (fish tank light, mosquito fan), and keep devices with SMALL batteries topped up for use, like my camera batteries, drone batteries, bluetooth adapter battery, and two air quality sensors that have internal batteries that only last about an hour.I also use it to charge my child's really ancient phone and tablet, while he's sleeping. They don't support quickcharge or high current charging, so this does the job just fine, and eliminates the need for him to have a wall wart in his room.I bought this thing specifically for this usage, so i am 100% happy with it. I am super impressed that the backlight works after a year, and all of the charging ports still work. I've never tested the USB-C port, but i'd wager it works fine, too.Do not buy this to charge your samsung universe 45 phablet with 90000mah battery, because you will be disappointed. For those that understand such things, this is a float charger, not a bulk charger. Treat it as such and you'll find tons of things to plug in to it, and it's way cheaper than the 6-8 port "phone chargers with QC3.0" that you'll find!

Very useful
I have several go bags, these are compact enough to fit in a pocket in case I'm stuck somewhere and need to charge several items. Enough room so that other's stuck in a waiting area can charge a phone or such if they didn't bring a charger. Excellent for my cell and scribe or other readers. I've 3 and I'll probably give the kids the other brands that I have and get another. I keep one connected next to my desk just about all the time. The only other that I use regularly is a Surge protector with widely spaced outlets and a couple USB charging ports, but that goes n my luggage.

First impressions are good
Just gad this delivered Today, and I must say, I'm not disappointed. It came nicely presented in a matt black box, and the charger itself was also wrapped in plastic and came with a screen protection sticker for delivery. The instructions were... sparse... to say the least. The usual broken 'English translated from Chinese' affair, but really... what instructions do you need? Plug it into a power supply, plug USB cables into it and your devices, don't go swimming with it, don't eat it... usual stuff. All in all, it was pretty professionally presented. The product is smaller than I thought it would be, which is great for the bedside table I'm going to use it on. It feels a little cheap for the price. Not so much 'bad', but just a bit 'plasticky and light'. But where this really shines, is it's information screen. It seems to pick up the incoming voltage accurately and gives a clear reading of each ports charging status. An animated battery icon tells you what ports are actually charging, while a numeric indicator tells you exactly how much power is being sent to each port. It may or may not be VERY accurate, and the instructions themselves state clearly that low power devices (such as watches) may not show any info as they draw too little power to register, but even so, it's kind of satisfying to just watch the display. I'm a kid at heart, I guess. One thing that I found odd though, is that as it's selling point is the display, there isn't a way to either stop the display turning off, or brighten it up again after it goes dim, unless you unplug/plug a device in for charging. Note that even when dim, the display still can be seen, just not very clearly... think of a digital watch without a backlight. All in all, still testing, but it seems a fun and functional addition to my bedside table. While this is being used on my bedside, I can honestly see this being used if I need to travel too. The clear readout (if as accurate as it seems to be) will give a great indication if the power supply is giving you problems charging your devices. Of course, it won't help you to charge things better in such cases, but it will stop you wasting extra money on an endless search for USB cables that might work better.Wrapping up, while it feels a little cheap, it seems to be a very well presented and useful charger. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Wonderful
I have several items in my room that require charging, which include my phone, my tablet, sometimes my watch, and sometimes my earphones. This works great charging multiple items at once
