Excellent value, superior quality!
I am an at home chef with 3 Le Cordon Bleu trained family members. I cook a lot of Japanese food and already own several high end Japanese knives. Tuo brand cutlery is not only affordable. Tuo knives are made from the same materials as the high end cutlery. They are easy to sharpen. I already own four Tuo knives and I plan on purchasing more knives but I can't decide because they all look amazing.

Very nice knife the blade is a little thick and the handle being round makes it slip when my hand are covered in blood from deer processing all day buy it looks really cool and holds a good edge. I wanted something different from my victorinox. It's a beautiful knife and gets the job done.

Effective Chicken Slaughterer.
I bought this as a special tool for a special time/activity. I was looking for something pretty, something respectful, and something reliable that I could use when it came time to cull our chickens, and this was it.Well, it got the job done. The patterning in the Damascus is a bit more textured than I anticipated, and blood is a little harder to clean out of that than I originally assumed, but that's fine. If I gotta butcher them, the wife can clean the knife! :DBeautiful knife. Unlike some other reviewers on here I found no problems with the handle, but I've got some big mitts so... take that as you will.

A Good Knife
I bought this knife because of the price mark down. It is worth the sale price with a couple of caveats. Unlike some other reviewers comments, mine did not come particularly sharp. Also, and this is on me for not doing my homework; it is advertised as a boning/fillet knife but is more the former and less the latter. I intended to use it solely to fillet fish. Unfortunately the blade is too stiff/firm meaning it lacks the thinness and flexibility to be a real, good fish fillet knife.

Terrible quality
I loved my knife when I first received it, was beautifully designed and very sharp. Less than three weeks later it has started to rust and there are MULTIPLE chips out of the blade, not sure how that even happened. I haven't used it on actual 'bone', only veggies / meat to date.
