3D Printer Bed Adhesive,3D Print Glue Stick for Build Plate

This stuff is noticeably better than the glue stick I was using before. I run a Bambu Lab A1 and first layer adhesion was always my biggest headache with certain filaments like ABS and PETG. After applying this, prints stick firmly during the build and release cleanly once the plate cools down. No residue left behind on the plate either. A thin layer goes a long way so the bottle lasts a while. I have been through a couple of bottles now and the consistency has been the same each time. If you are tired of wrestling with first layer failures, this is worth trying.

This is a good and easily applied bed glue. I use it on the Bambu A1 printer. I had not used any type of bonding agent before on my printer. However, with some filaments, and the smooth build plate, it is pretty much a requirement. If you are getting lifts or bad plate adhesion the best thing to do is get a bonding agent, like this bed glue. This works so much better than the typical glue stick. Rather than being a solid glue this is liquid. It spreads much easier and more completely than a solid glue. The liquid nature of the glue gets into the pores of the build plate better. I have been using this for about a month and have had no negative issues with it. It cleans off easily and leaves nothing behind. The bottle itself is made from a softer plastic which allows you to squeeze the bottle to adjust the amount being laid down on the build plate. The applicator tip is some sort of material that is porous and lays the glue down evenly. So far I have only tried it on the smooth cool plate, and there it does well. I will use it on other plates in the future and if there is any change in my experience I will update this. Do not apply it when the plate is hot.

It had been suggested that I try this adhesive for those times when I am having issues with bed adhesion. I have to admit, this stuff really does the job and makes the prints stick better. It rolls on to the print bed easily, dries fairly quickly (as long as you don't put on too heavy a coat), and holds the print well. And then you can either choose to leave it on the print bed and benefit from it for a few more prints, or wash it off before the next print. Either way, it cleans easily or lasts for a long time. Plus, the prints aren't too difficult to get off once the print surface has cooled. They are stuck really on tight when the print surface is warm though, which is a real benefit when you're needing to print something that keeps coming loose when it shouldn't.

I hear how wonderful the printers are from bambu labs and I’ve started to see Amazon stocking their products. Why not. It worked really well. Jus easy. As easy as all the ones before. I didn’t see a phase in that adhesion on my build plate just beginning after three prints so I mean that means it’s gotta be lasting pretty good long time and I didn’t add any extra to it it just I just didn’t wash it off. I just sprayed it with the alcohol and gave it a light wipe and it just kind of smeared a little bit of it and it went to the next print. It was easy to remove off of the PIE build plate with just super water.

This is a game changer for those pesky filaments that just don't want to stick your build plate. I have trouble with some silk filaments not wanting to adhere for the duration of long prints on my PEI build plate, especially when printing very small miniatures where the build plate contact area is small. This has fixed those problems completely. No more failed prints on the home stretch! I definitely recommend getting this and keeping it on hand for when you encounter bed adhesion issues.
