Good for the price
It does what described in the description. Good for the price.Unfortunately, because the mic of my ipad is broken, I was looking for an external one that could work without isolating the output canal, this was not the case (so I'm still forced to use a switch).

Didn't work on my iPad 2
I bought this for an iPad which had a mic that wouldn't always work. I thought this would help as you could just use the mic from here. I was wrong. It seems nice enough as an item however for what I bought it for - to use instead of a broken internal mic - it just didn't work.I could be being unfair as perhaps the iPad was to blame but if you are thinking of using it on a device where the internal mic isn't working, then I would think twice.
