Varsity football WR Approved! PT recommended, 4mnths post surgery, as boutonniere deformity began setting in to pinky finger. Size C is was the perfect fit for his PINKY FINGER (6'4" and 175lbs). Thankfully, these can be slightly adjusted/ tightened (by PT), once worn/straightened out. Ps...Yes, it is made of Styrofoam like material. BUT! Nothing as horrible as the negative reviews give it. Trust me, I'd definitely tell you the truth when it comes to my kiddos and my money lol. 5/5 STARS!

This product works as intended, however it is not very durable. I have what I would consider to be a pretty significantly damaged pinky finger that was dislocated during an exercise. My doctor suggested this type of splint to help ease my ligaments away from the bone, so I can return to the full motion. The version of this splint that I got from the doctor's office lasted many weeks. I even used it during exercise routines including lifting weights and pull ups and it never had any issues. I lost that splint, so instead I ordered this one online. Fast forward two weeks, and the front knuckle pad is separating from the wire, which causes considerable discomfort. Mind you, I haven't gotten this thing wet, I haven't used it while working out. I do "exercise" the pinky by flexing it (contracting/extending finger) with the spring, which I think is the intended function. Anyways, this product isn't durable enough for the price, when it should be worn daily for a long time period, not just a few weeks.

I bought this brace for my teenage son at his occupational therapists request. My son cut his finger off and had it reattached and had been doing occupational therapy to try to regain movement. He can't not fully bend or straighten his finger so the therapist advised we get him this to help get his finger straight. It does help with that as he has been able to hold his finger straighter even when not wearing the brace. It's Simple easy to figure out design and about as comfortable as someone with a injury can be.

I only ordered this because my physical therapist ordered me to at my first visit of many for rehabilitation after hand surgery for my rupturing tendon after a fall. Definitely zero stars for comfort -- it's not supposed to be comfortable. P.T. always hurts! Especially with that guy. He mandated it at that first visit, then he barely ever mentioned it again. Worth it? Idk. I guess it did its part to help. Seemed flimsy upon arrival for the $20'ish price, but it surprisingly lasted through those few months okay enough, & I guess my PT likes it fine, although it's hard for me to say nor feel like it helped much. I do hope to never (need to) use it again! LOL

This is quite possibly the worst piece of junk that has ever been sent to me. It looks like somebody glued pieces of foam together..
