Have to agree - good book!
Good book... good story, well-done colorful illustrations, witty, & funny. My 5 year old really likes it and I like it too.Just the right length for a 5 year old bedtime story - not too long and not too short either.

Superior Superhero!
How cute is this book? I downloaded it when it was offered for free from the author or publisher and viewed it using the Kindle app on my iPhone. The computer graphic drawings are VERY well done. I especially liked the quantity of them. Each small snippet of text has a corresponding piece of artwork. Great!Boys will really enjoy the tale of Superior Guy. The author has set up so many elements that will spark imagination - a legion of superhero friends, a hall of villains to fight, and an ending that will get little minds spinning and dreaming up adventures. So much fun. This book will be enjoyed by all ages but I think pre-k or kindergarten level would be perfect. It is also a story that will need to be read to the kiddos. I'm sure the reading level is quite beyond young readers. Some of the terms selected by the author may go over their heads even when read out loud - origins, civilian identity, colleagues, etc. Perhaps the author will take this into consideration when writing future stories. Also - do the sidekicks need to be inferior and do menial tasks? Hmmm - when young kids are playing Superior Guy together, who is going to want to be the lowly, lesser character? Again, something for the author to consider. This story is a perfect set up for a series. It's also perfect for viewing on iPads and the Kindle Fire - well done. A top-notch children's book.

Kids love it!
My 5 year olds love this book. They sit very quietly and listen to the whole story. I thought that the story may be a little over their heads, but they truly love the story line of how to be a superhero!

maybe middle school and high school students would enjoy reading it
Definitely not a children's book for elementary age children, maybe middle school and high school students would enjoy reading it. As a school Librarian, I found some of Yu's word choices to be pretty disturbing for children (ages 5 to 11) in elementary school. I gave the book 3-stars, because the story is very well written for an author who is only 15 years-old.

Worst children's book ever
This book is too wordy. The first person language is very casual. The content will put you to sleep. I wish that I could delete this from my library. my seven year old wanted to read something else after 5 pages. The only positive aspect of the book is that it was free. Still to expensive.

Fun
Went crazy with my new Kindle. Bought this book on a whim. But have read it with my son over and over. He and I both enjoy it. He is learning to read and looks for anything to read to show mom and dad that he can do it. So when Finally allowed him to use my Kindle, he fell in love with his book. It may be silly for adults but awesome for keeping early minds interested.

Reads More Like a Comic's Speech than a Children's Book
The idea behind the book is fine but I was very disappointed with the writing. It is not aimed at young kids at all. It reads more like a comedy routine at the local stand-up comics night. Reminds me a lot of such comics as Wendy Harmer. The choice of words are not suitable for the target age group. Here are just a few examples:"long horribly cliched victory speeches","Apocalyptic events will take place""Amassed quite a few tokens""These origins ca result in different forms of power, such as telepathy, weather control, heat vision and teleportation"All examples of the writing that is aimed at adults and not kids.Compare this to a book such as Morgie, Peej and the Mischievous Monkey: A Beautifully Illustrated Children's Book, Perfect Bedtime Story (The Adventures of Two Dogs) This latter book has humor, a story with a start middle and end, a plot and top quality illustrations. Finally a word about formatting. The pictures are over-sized resulting in the text being moved to the next page. The image size is too large for the book to be turned into landscape mode.

super cute story!
how to be a superhero was a cute, and almost campy story about the ins and outs of becoming a superhero. its like a superhero bootcamp. the artwork is clean and dynamic, and the colors are appealing.this book is for kids mainly, but i think that teens would enjoy it as well.
