Can be complicated.
If you like complicated, then this is for you! Otherwise buy one with a cord. I did section mine into two separate strips with an angle grinder. I used 12 guage wire and was able to stuff wire nuts into this with zero room to spare as the wires came out a back hole rather than the end.

The recommended splicing blocks do not hold the wire tightly
I tried to install these, as well as three seperate professional electricians. Impossible to wire from backside (legally anyway). The recommended splicing blocks do not hold the wire tightly, wire gage is imposssible to work with in the confined space. Covers would not snap into place. Could not use these at all.
