DurvetFly D Duramask Fly Mask

Ordered the horse one and got sent the Arabian mask. I even double checked that it wasn’t my slip up. My horse really needed something ASAP so I tried it on him. It fits him but I wish there was more wiggle room. So just make sure you get the size sent to you that you actually ordered! Other than that, it’s great quality and I’m so happy the flies are bothering him a lot less now!

I was in a pinch when I bought this, having needed a couple fly masks when my farm took on two horses unexpectedly. As with most horse owners, we've been through dozens of fly masks from different manufacturers. Typically, cheap fly masks are ruined in weeks if not less (especially if you have mischievous horses like we do). Surprisingly though, when these arrived we were impressed with their quality. The sizes were exactly correct and fit our two Arabians (one is larger, so we got a horse size for him). The ear holes are sized right, and the Velcro is strong. The mesh is high quality, not like cheap masks that look and feel like window screening. A couple months in and these masks are still in pristine conditions, while our others continue to deteriorate. This is definitely one product that proves that not all cheap things are poor quality.

No fly masks last more than one season in my experience, but this one stays on better than most.

So far I like them. They are sturdy. Like the soft finished edges for less irritation. The double Velcro closure set up is very sturdy. So far no hunting for the masks after they were rubbed off in the pasture. Nice.

Great fit. Very durable & easy to wash

Bought this fly mask for my paint but it only fits my little Arabian Quarter cross. Size seems to run small.

We purchase these for our two horses regularly. One has more trouble with flies. The horses are pasture kept. The masks usually only last one fly season at a time but they work well.
