i got a set of 3 of these area rugs for our downstairs living area, entryway and kitchen. Although living in Hawaii has an over abundance of perks, believe it or not it has a few drawbacks too. For me one of the biggest annoyances is the red dirt. It gets EVERYWHERE and turns EVERYTHING red! And thanks to our 2 large very active dogs, this red dirt is relentlessly tracked into our home multiple times a day, every single day. This wreaked havoc on our (now old) traditional area rugs and runners, all forever damned to be infused with red dirt no matter how tireless my efforts were, in the end my hard work rendered futile. >>>>> Enter These Marvelous Area "Rugs". Now, although they are not actual rugs, they are the best substitute for actual threaded rugs. They are made of a synthetic rubber/plastic like material and no actual fibers at all. but thats a great thing! why, you ask. well because it makes these rugs not only waterproof theyre stain resistant too!! AHHH!! its amazing, really. Dogs trek in globs of red mud, something accidentally spills on the floor (very very common in our household), dog pees inside out of spite (yes, he does it when hes angry at us), husband spooks me for a laugh during breakfast and raw eggs go all over the floor, other dog yaks up water bc moderation is not in his vocabulary lol, husband vs wive spontaneous water gun shootout (happens at least 1 x a week) - all these crazy incidents simply wiped up with a towel and Zero carpet cleaning and drying involved! AAAHHHmazing!!! Plus they are thin enough to allow the front door to swing wiiiide open without causing any annoying interference with the door getting caught/stuck on the rug. Thin but still comfy enough to ease aching feet as you slave away at the stove or then the sink every evening, BUT NOT thick enough for me to trip and face plant into the ground with (i trip over everything, even the wifi. lol). Theyre waterproof meaning they are nonporous meaning goodbye unsightly forever red tinged rugs. As a testament to their durability, let me say ive had these area bad boys laying out for a week already and not a sign of wear no tears, my two 80 lbs boys do a fantastic job of putting these rugs through more than a fair share of abuse on the daily. Now the print on the rugs, is a timeless boho/classic persian rug design in blue grey shades capable of complementing any interior decor. final note, when i first opened these there was the ever slightest "new plastic-ish" odor and the ends curled up a bit but the next day both had disappeared.All in all these are 100/10. if you hadnt already figured it out ..... I recommend them.

There are few mats that really have impressed me as much as this vinyl mat! I don’t know why but the second I unrolled this mat and tossed it on the floor, I was in love!I got the 3x6 to place in front of my washer and dryer and to me it just stands out in the laundry room. It’s a beautiful blueish gray color with even more beautiful design. It’s not a fabric rug. It’s vinyl and that makes it extremely easy to clean. You just wash it down with a cloth or even a mop. It has a nonslip back and this rug does not move. It hasn’t moved once on my laminate floors. That alone impressed me.With it being vinyl and not cloth, it makes it so much easier to deal with near water sources.I want a couple more of these types of mats so I can change out colors every so often.I’m truly impressed with this mat and give 5 stars because the quality, beauty, and cost all went beyond my expectations. It comes rolled and not folded and it lays flat at the first throw. Love, love, love!

This runner will brighten up any hallway, especially a dark one. The fact that it is washable and non-skid is certainly a bonus. . The feature that it is washable and non-skid is certainly a bonus .Keep in mind that this is not a plush rug, but rather a vinyl mat that will tend to soften footsteps and be a little easier on the feet than a bare floor. I look forward to placing it on my soon-to-be new flooring in the hallway.

I bought this for the kitchen to put in front of the sink. It's soft, but not super soft, but It's nice to stand on while washing dishes. It looks good in the kitchen as well. It's preferable to a dull solid color mat. It looks a lot like a rug, and it's not shiny, but has a nice matt surface which helps with the illusion. I would like a darker color if I had a choice, but this is the only color I saw. If I could think of a different place to put one, I might like it in front of the washer and dryer as well. The only thing will be to see how it wears over time, but it seems nice to me.

The kitchen in my rented apartment has a sort of dot/paint-splatter patterned vinyl flooring, which is not great looking and also makes it near impossible to find any small thing you may have dropped, so I was mainly looking to cover it up with something to fix both of these problems. This mat worked perfectly! It covers most of the floor, and is waterproof so I don't have to worry about spills during cooking (or fires, for that matter). It had a little bit of a plastic smell coming out of the package, but it dissipated completely within half a day.It isn't particularly cushioned, so if you're looking for a standing mat, this isn't for you. I do wish it came in a few other patterns, because the carpet design does look at little odd, but not bad. It works and I'm satisfied!
