Great prep for FSOT! I am using it to prepare to take the CFPT.

DO NOT PURCHASE! This book is a waste of your time and your money. It is not a practical way to prepare for the FSOT. I purposely bought this book because I wanted to manually work through the three full-length practice tests on paper and to be able to write notes on the practice tests and answer explanations. Two of the three practice tests and their answer explanations are online and NOT in the actual book. If I had known two of the three practice tests were online, I would have just bought an online resource. This book has no specific study strategies tailored for the FSOT. It is a thin little book that seems to be a lazy cut and paste compilation of the general summaries of other subjects’ test preparation books. Nothing inside the book suggests it is for the FSOT. The only reference to the FSOT is on the front cover. All of their online resources are not able to be printed nor saved on your computer. You will be better off using a test preparation resource that offers you test taking strategies and approaches specifically written for the FSOT and not just any general exam.

Decent study material. Found a lot to be outdated though so not sure what they are updated with editions. An entire section of the test, situation judgment, is completely left out. Then in the practice tests the practice questions for situational judgment aren’t formatted at all like they are on the test which is a bit of a waste.

The online tests that they rave about are a joke! It does not save your answers, the system keeps crashing, and you'll get some non-sensical message: "Client closed." If you can start over, the same thing will happen, again, and again. Did me no good. Spend your money on a product that delivers what you paid for instead.

Though it is a major portion of the exam, there is no situational judgement section. I also found typos, errors, and sections that are out of order.
