My neighbors cat love to come to my yard and do their business. This items help keep them away.I put them around the premises. So far, they work.

Easy to handle lengths, easy to trim to shorter pieces for awkward corners, easy to install with construction adhesive. The spikes are long and well positioned to prevent birds from landing. These work perfectly!I have been annoyed for years with pigeons roosting on the top of decorative columns under the eaves of my home. I have tried shooing them away and spraying the tops with offensive smelling liquids (e.g. bleach, WD-40) - all dissipated in a short with no long term results. The column tops are pretty wide, so I used a double row of spikes, alternating the spikes from one row between the spikes of other for full coverage. Voila' - no more annoying pigeons cooing and making a mess on my entryway and columns.I'm glad these are all stainless steel, looking forward them lasting virtually forever. Thanks for making such a good product!

Excellent product!!! This bird detergent is high quality, all metal, and easy to use. Can be cut for sizing in small areas.

Although stainless, they will rust if you are close to the ocean. The 304 grade stainless is not good enough of a grade in a marine environment. 316 would be needed. Otherwise the produce is good.

I bought these to keep some obnoxious pigeons off of our roof. They are some domestic birds, quite beautiful, and like to visit our bird feeders. I don't especially have a problem with that. The problem was they like to perch on the edge of the roof. Then, instead of looking out at the view, they hang their tails over the edge, and the deck below suffers.These were very easy to install. I was glad that I got the all metal ones, as I was installing them on very heavy asphalt shingles, which have a lot of irregular surfaces. I attached them with two stainless steel screws for each unit. Because of their light weight metal base, they were able to flex, and adapt to the shape of the roof. In fact, I was able to bend the first one, and have it drape over the peak of the roof, for a perfect fit. I don't think ones with a plastic base would have been nearly as adaptable. Also, these will not be aged by many years of sunlight, which is damaging to so many things.I am extremely happy with these, and would recommend them.

Birds

I love that these come preinstalled. These are a great price for the product. Birds started nesting under the under-side of my deck back in April 2021, I knocked down the nest before eggs were laid and put up the spikes and reflector tape, and birds did not come back near my deck at all immediately after installation.The spikes are close together so birds can’t form nests inside the spikes.Through multiple storms and windy days, these spikes have stayed up there for over 2 months now and still no birds.They work (maybe in combo with the flashing tape too—which I got from Amazon for cheap).

While very easy to attach, I used 8 of them. I attached 2 on each side of 2x4 post to keep squirrels out of my bird feeder. They still climbed up the post. Spikes did not deter them.

The pigeons are very fond of sitting on our pergola and that's where our garden seating is. Have tried other deterrents eg shiny things, create pretty dappling effects but doesn't deter the pigeonsPreferred these spikes as didn't fancy the self assembly onesQuick to put up and we got through the whole summer without unwanted droppings on our garden furniture - or us!

Over the years I have tried various baffles and contraptions to deter the red squirrel from scampering up my bird feeder pole. Nothing worked, these ingenious litter critters always were able to figure out a way. On a long shot I thought I would try these strips. Thankfully these strips have done the trick along with my baffles. Very easy to install and they are effective. I initially used masking tape to position the strip on the pole and then tied them to the pole with wire. I'm sure they will work for deterring birds as well. I'm very satisfied and do recommend the product.
