A useful ADHD tool
I have six Time Timers at this point, one in each room and in my bag for travel. It's not going to solve all of my ADHD problems, but it is really effective at the one thing it does: simple to set and tells me how much time is left in one glance. This means I don't have to use my phone as a timer while cooking or doing chores, which saves me from that distraction pitfall. Also the range of Mod colors makes them fun to look at.

Subtle ticking
I love the visual design of the timer - the colors, the smooth movement, the clear numbering. I appreciate that there is a silent mode, though it can be trickier to keep track of the time if you're bad at checking the timer (more of a user issue). My biggest qualm is that the mechanism of the timer creates an ever-so-slight ticking sound, which can become evident when working in a quiet environment. If ticking bothers you, be aware. I usually block it out by listening to some kind of other noise/audio while working.

Helps get me started when I feel overwhelmed w/ tasks
My brain gets easily overwhelmed when it knows there are multiple silos going on at one time. This is a really basic way that I get myself to tackle tasks w/o that paralysis vibe happening! You can turn the alarm beep on or off which is nice, too. This works well for my niece, too when I have to get her time constraints. (Screen time usually :)

Excellent tool recommended by therapists
I use it all the time for my son who has ASD and ADHD and has difficulties staying on task and keeping track of time. I have several versions of the Time Timer, this one is small so it's easier to take with us if we're going somewhere.

Broke immediately, zero stars
This timer immediately broke. I set it to countdown once fine, and then when I set it to a full hour the plastic disc got caught somehow and would not count down. Extremely disappointing for a tool designed to be used with children, it should be able to withstand regular use. I have the wall sized version and use it everyday, but this feel delicate and useless.

Great timer
I love this timer it helps my son and I manage our time blindness from ADHD and the fact it doesn’t tick makes it silent and very soothing. I also appreciate the small design and colors. I like we can turn the alarm sound on and off. It has taken a few tumbles and has not shown any wear. I think it’s price reasonable. It is very easy to use and I appreciate the packaging!

Great for Home and School
As a special education teacher and a mom, these are my favorite visual timers. I use them in my classroom for time management and at home. They look good, sound good, and hold up well. These go clockwise, showing the passage of time the same way a clock does, which will lead nicely into telling time on a clock, most other timers go counter clockwise. I have 3 Time Timers in my classroom of various sizes and one at home.
