While my older manual grinders for pepper and salt worked OK and had the same adjustment range as this grinder, my older grinders were a pain to use whenever I needed a lot of salt or pepper for spice rub recipes. My aging hands would get tired out and turn those recipes into a chore. This set of grinders is a nice upgrade in my kitchen. The clear polycarbonate plastic bottom screws off and is easy to fill. The opening is wider than my older grinder and made less of a mess when filling. I charged the grinders before use by connecting the included USB-A to UCB-C cable. Charging was fast. I toggled the small switch to on and it was ready to use. It's easy to use. Simply turn the top end over the food or recipe bowl and the grinder motor starts automatically. A LED light built into the tip illuminates the ground up ingredient as it falls out so that you can see that it's working. Especially useful for salt since it can be hard to see how much you are applying at first. Grain size was easily adjusted by turning the knob in the center of the top. I was able to get nice chunky pepper and salt sizes all the way down to fine grains. Over all I found this set easy to set up and use.

These grinders are fantastic! I use them primarily for grinding fresh pepper and herbs, and the adjustable knobs make it easy to get the perfect grind size. They’re well-made and have been a great addition to my kitchen, especially when I need larger quantities for cooking. Five stars for versatility and quality—these grinders make seasoning effortless!

I have burned through so many batteries... so many batteries... with our other grinders. These give me all the awesomeness of the grinders without the constant use of batteries. 9 batteries per grinder compared to rechargeable - YES PLEASE! These are awesome. Easy to load, easy to clean, great that I can recharge them. Very happy with these.

I am so pleased with this set. First, no more batteries! I love the thought of rechargeable. They grind great, they are easy to fill, and the adjustable grinder is great. In fact, compared to my other gravity grinder set, the salt coarseness can be set very fine. This works great for popcorn.The only issue I had that took me a minute to figure out, was there was a small piece of rubber to stop the power switch from accidentally turning on. Once I removed that, they worked flawlessly.

I like that this is a matched set. I also like that you can adjust the coarseness of the grind. The clear bases are acrylic not glass. I have to admit that I first thought they were broken. After first removing the shipping rubber from the switch they didn't turn on. I charged them up. They still didn't work. I turned one upside down to look at it and that's when it activated. Boy what a surprise. I guess that I should have read the instructions. They are both filled and we use them all the time. It's really convenient to not press a button. Just turn them upside down.

I've been using manual salt/pepper grinders for years. It admittedly gets tiring to use after a while. I tried these and not sure why I hadn't tried these earlier. I like that you can adjust the coarseness by turning the tip. Using is as simple as turning it upside down. An LED gets activated when grinding illuminating the food that you are grinding the spices onto. I love that it uses USB to recharge rather than having to use lots of AA batteries. Its also easy to open up and load. Overall, this is a great salt/pepper grinder set that I would highly recommend.

Easy to load. I love that they light up. Rechargeable is amazing as I don't have to change batteries anymore. No instructions on proper maintenance or cleaning, but otherwise a great set to upgrade my previous auto grinders.
