Stopped itching immediately
Amazing product - I had the spray first which was great and I ordered this gel to go with it.My boy would cry saying “itchy, hurty” so I knew the itching must have been bad. We then would apply the “nice gel that stops the itch” and he would patiently wait there until I finished applying it and relax right after - so I knew it must be working. He scabbed really quickly too, which I don’t know if it is due to the gel or not. He had quite bad case of chickenpox- big and lot of them and this together with the spray really helped him feel happy and comfortable. I did not see him scratch once. 100% recommend

Essential for the relief of Shingles - highly recommended
With my Mother of 83 getting Shingles over the Easter period - ViraSoothe was recommended by a neighbour to help relieve some of the pain of the rash. After trying a tube - the relief it gave was significant, but at £8.50 a tube from Tesco and with us getting through a tube each day - this was getting rather costly. Looking at Amazon - the price was significantly cheaper (£6.00), plus the amount of gel was larger (75g vs 50g) - so all further purchases were made from Amazon. We would have no hesitation in recommending this product - it really is superb and over a 4 week period - the rash has now almost disappeared. Please note that my Mother had a severe case of Shingles where the rash covered one side of her tummy, right round to her spine - hence getting through a tube a day of the 50g quantity which we used every morning and night. We did try calamine lotion - but this just dried up the rash making any form of movement extremely painful.

Great for the dreaded chicken pox
Found this to be the best at cooking and soothing the chicken pox itch. Also great at treating other skin conditions that cause red/itchy/inflamed skin. Would recommend.

Worked faster than expected...
Uugghh... the dreaded Chickenpox. Thankfully, we spotted it (no pun intended) early on our 2 year old and treated it immediately with this - recommended by and bought at the local pharmacists. I have to say, the results were much better than expected with I reckon approximately 70% overall tell-tale scab development in around 48 hours. It says spread 'sparingly' but we slap it on fairly thick first thing, lunchtime and just before bed... which meant that first 75g tube didn't last long... but as it seems to be working pretty fast and has been providing the nipper with some relief from the all-over itch... hey, happy days. However, no stocks at the chemists meant I've consequently had to order more from Amazon... did so late Friday evening on 'Prime'... and they arrived Saturday morning! Absolutely superb delivery service.

Fabulous for soothing chicken pox
We have a bit of an outbreak locally of chickenpox so getting anything to soothe them has been a challenge. Found this on Amazon, and liked the idea of using a gel not cream. Compared to locally, this was very expensive, but did come the same day so was able to use straight away, worth paying a bit extra for the convenience. The gel did indeed cool the itch and went on well. 2nd child is using it now so lasts as well.

Stings a little but does the job
I was recommended this cream as it worked for my nephew and it worked for my daughter who was 5 when she had chicken pox. She said the cream would sting a little but it stopped her feeling like she needed to scratch the pox. The stinging might have been due to some of the blisters she had scratched. The other recommendation to do as well was an oat bath (porridge oats in a sock or tights in the bath water) this helped as well and got my daughter through without too much itching.

Brilliant little product
This product is amazing! My little boy had severe chicken pox and got told by the pharmacist to use this product (didn't by from the pharmacy as it was very pricey). As chicken pox should they scabbed up and I used as per the instructions on said scabs and they completely healed with in a week. He didn't scratch and the cooling consistency must have been lovely for him, Only the odd scar but noticeably different to when I had it as a kid and only used calamine lotion!Brill product!

A must for chickenpox suffererers
Used with all three of my children when we got an outbreak of chickenpox - aged 4, 2 and 6 months (the lowest recommended age for use). Really easy and non-messy to apply and none of them seemed to mind the application at all. It is a thick, transparent gel and it is easy to see where it has been applied to give good coverage. It definitely helped relieve any itching and scarring for them all and helped them cope with the illness well, giving almost instant relief upon application. A little pricey but well worth the money in my opinion and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
