Tfcc tear here and this brace has been super helpful getting through the day . I've had this over a month and hasn't degraded at all , very happy with the purchase.

I'm surprised at how helpful and comfortable this wrist brace is. I have a lot of hand/wrist issues from repetitive use and injuries, including a TFCC tear in my right wrist, which was causing a great deal of acute pain. Due to the nature of my work, I'm unfortunately unable to just "not use" my hands/wrists and this brace has allowed me to keep working and alleviated much of the pain. I'm still not able to do anything weight-bearing (no push ups, etc) but it's provided considerable relief.

The material quality is very good. My skin is very sensitive. I have bought similar products before, but they rubbed and irritated my skin, causing redness and swelling, but this one does not. The support is sufficient and has good support. It is a good product

I have been looking for a shorter wrist brace that won't interfere with my smartwatch/fitness tracker - the traditional style of wrist brace just goes too far up the arm. So when I saw this brace, I knew I had to try it. I have a lot of wrist instability issues, though no particular diagnosis. Still, I really like this brace. It is comfortable, but strong and gives just the right amount of support for what I need.The drawback, for me, is that I am allergic to something in this brace. I checked the fabrics used before ordering and thought this product would be safe for me, as it's just spandex and nylon, but for some reason, I have bright red chemical burns on my wrist and severe itching every time I take it off. I'm not sure if it's a chemical that's been used in manufacturing or what the problem is.So I like the brace - the design, strength, color, all of it - but I'm not sure how often I can truly wear it due to skin reactions.

EDITED:After testing it for a while, I am taking one more star off. It’s uncomfortable to wear it for longer stretches and it leaves deep marks on my skin cause it’s really hard and cuts into the wrist. I tried wearing it more loosely, but then it’s like not using anything at all, so why even bother? Plus, not having the thumb loop to secure it, it does nothing for me personally. I need to keep my wrist immobilized, and there’s zero of that effect with this brace, unfortunately.—————————-I'm an expert in braces by now since my wrist regularly hurts after playing too much tennis on some days. And I do have to use special braces for when I exercise, and I also have some lightweight ones for when I'm just recovering and don't want to strain my wrist too much while driving or doing simple chores, etc.This one is definitely lightweight, it's very similar to a couple of other ones I have, except those don't have that gel padding. And to be honest, I'm not sure what it's there for. If it has to press on my wrist, then I need to tighten the velcro wraps pretty tight, and it's uncomfortable and cuts into my skin. If I loosen it a bit, then I don't even feel the gel pads on my wrist. So that selling point is definitely not for me. Hopefully it makes sense for others.
