DJI Osmo 2 Mobile Handheld Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer Videographer Bundle with Case, Flex Tripod, Base and Lens Maintenance Kit

The Osmo is super awesome and works great. The Osmo base is great too. The rest of this package is super cheap, low-quality products. This was obvious even before I bought it and that's okay. It's more useful stuff at a great price. Unfortunately, the tripod was broken and completely missing its top when it arrived. That seems like a big mistake to ship out, but they quickly offered to replace or refund me the tripod so I appreciate their quick action.

Love the Osmo gimbal so far, plus a nice set of extras included with this bundle. Of that I only have one negative comment... that the included camera bag is too small to hold the Osmo inside it's own protective foam case, and it really barely fits the Osmo outside of the case, stretching out the case slightly, so any impact to the case while carrying it could potentially damage the Osmo. The case is also too small for the large tripod also included, so unfortunately the case isn't very useful itself, but the bundle is the best deal out there since it also comes with some nice extras plus the official DJI base unit for the Osmo which I highly recommend.

Love the concept of this gimbal. The amount of stuff that came in the package was awesome. Thought it a good price. With that said, I had two issues which caused me to return the items to Amazon. Thank you for having that option!1. I played with the gimbal off and on for a week trying to figure out use and set up. Balance is key and not so easy. Once done worked like a charm, until it didn't. Started vibrating and grinding in the motors. Thought it an anomoly so rebalance everything and tried again. Same problem. So after several attempts over a few days, decided to return.2. When mounting phone (Samsung Galaxy S8+) in virtical config to take intigram type videos, it was difficult to not get the gimbal in the image when using main phone lenses in back of phone. If doing selfie mode, no problem.3. I used the ap to take both video and still photos. The stills came out segmented. At several points from top of photo to bottom, the image was misaligned horizontally all across the photo. This has never happened with the native camera app. So, assumption on my part is that there is a camera image issue with the Osmo app for my phone.Will find another brand and try gimbal again. Thanks again to Amazon for the great return policy.

Buyer BEWARE!Picture shows a large carrying bag and I only got some cheap styrofoam holder and seller will do nothing about it even though other people have the same issue and posted similar reviews.Also, FYI you can not Facebook Live to any business pages only to your personal page and the same thing on YouTube.

I have a few models of gimbal stabilizer for different purpose, such as 2 versions for GoPro since there were the king of action and travel filming. Until recently that my daughter started filming and we bought her DJI Osmo 2. I must say the prices have come down a lot in the past few years. Back then, a gimbal could cost $400 and up just for the GoPro one.DJI Osmo is definitely a huge upgrade without the high price tag. And DJI does know what they are doing with this. The control on the stick is god-send and it is so much easier to do panning, tilting and other angles that you like it to do.She used it for filming timelapse during her trip to NYC and the video looks awesome. This is not just an entry-level thing. Combining with the power of iPhone, you are producing high-end video in no time.

I used this on a shoot in direct sun, 85° F weather for nearly a half of a day. The battery still had plenty of life after working non-stop for a number of hours. The device worked great after you get a little bit of practice with it. The only issue I ran into was my cell phone overheating while recording. This may be in part due to it running for so long and the fact that the Osmo has a plate that sits directly behind the phone. I think it prevented it from getting air and cooling. Aside from this small inconvenience, I'm happy with this device.

So the Osmo and the Base for it were all I was looking for because if you got it from the DJI website it would've been more. The flexible tripod and camera case were useless to me and I don't think it would even fit anything included but that is not why I bought the bundle. So don't actually expect anything to be good quality except for the actual Osmo Mobile. If you want a flex tripod, just buy a gorilla pod separately. It's worth it.

I use a Samsung Galaxy 8 which means I can't put the phone all the way snug in without getting part of the gimbal arm in my shot. I just have to make sure it sticks out a bit and then I don't run into that problem. This is an amazing product that gives you an edge in a high quality movie production for a tiny sliver of what the price should be for an expensive gimbal. DJI is a wonderful brand and I highly recommend all of their products. This should be in every ones camera bag. You will not be disappointed.
