fun craft, it's as expected. These never come with the hooks, which is good for us, because if they did, we'd have a small pile of those things. very soft and pretty

It was very disappointing to have my daughter open it, want to use it and not be able to because I had to go out and find the tool that laces the yarn through the holes. That should've been included in the item. The excitement quickly faded and it sits in the corner with only a couple of strands manipulated through the weave by my daughter, before I was able to get the tool.

This item is a little different from a regular latch hook rug, the yarn strands are really long and when you try and pull it through in kinda gets stuck and then it frays the yarn. I wouldn't buy another one. If you pull it through really SLOW it works well SOMETIMES.. Stick with a regular latch hook rug, much easier and looks much better..

It's beautiful, but it didn't come with a latch hook tool and I was unaware of this. I had to search around to find one.

Great beginner kit. Does not include hook or binding. The difference between light purple and dark purple is difficult to see on the canvas printing. Just check with the included pattern chart. All colors were included and plenty. Nice and bright.

I previously bought a regular latch-hook kit & found that my 6 yr old had a very hard time wrapping the yarn around the hook. This kit has longer yarn, so she has no trouble. Great starter kit!

This kit was perfect for my nine year old grand-daughter. Easy to work on and perfect design for a pre-teen. My grand-daughter likes the extra long yarn that is included with the kit.My order came quickly.
