Nasal Soft CPAP Cushion - Blue

Fact VS Fiction On This Thing
Yes, unless you have a very oily face, this thing will slide all over the place depending on what mask you wear. It has zero adhesive on it, but if you wear a full face CPAP mask and are tired of getting the beat up "hamburger nose" where it looks like you lost a particularly brutal MMA fight, this thing will save your schnozz. Here's how to make it work: get some medical tape or painter's tape and simply tape this thing over the bridge of your nose. Make the tape LONG so you can a) pull it off when you get up without tearing up the rest of your face, and b) and try different ways of taping this in place like one piece of tape from the bridge of your nose to the top of your head or whatever. Too much tape will go into your eyes, and so on.But this rubber gel pad will stop you from getting a beat-up bridge of those nose and yes, has to be taped to stay in place unless you're a greasy guy. For me, it worked and has saved me from getting the "hamburger nose" sine getting it. I wish it would stay on, but it won't. I also wish one day they'd make CPAP masks that actually fit now that we have 3D printers, but that's also not going to happen any time soon so we have to find hacks.

Odd little fleece shapes
My sleep doc said to try geckos—didn’t like. These came up. I can’t stick them on, but they do help cushion the bridge of my nose from the cushion. I tuck them into a cover I use on the cushion. They slide around a little, and I have trouble getting/keeping them in place. Not perfect. Better than a constantly red and irritated nose though!

I had bought a plain gel thing off Amazon that i think did much better but since it was gel it wore out after ...
It definitely protects the bridge of your nose from sores and etc and doesnt absorb oils from your skin so its basically anti slip, however.... it has to almost be perfectly positioned to work correctly.i don't understand why theres a flap that goes above your eyebrows but oh well i can work with that, however the center part gets thin and doesnt have enough width to stop leaks if not put on just the right way your mask will leak air. I had bought a plain gel thing off Amazon that i think did much better but since it was gel it wore out after a few months and starts to discolor from body oil and etc. but it did much better i feel and was thicker and more comfortable. For the price they charge for this cushion I would not buy again. The picture they show of the cushion on that mannequin head is deceiving, it makes it look like its a triangle type of thing and covers everywhere around the nose and the bottom of the eyes when in reality its more like a T shape so buy the time you pull the flaps by the side of your nose then theres no coverage around the eyes and it leaks... Its ok and doesnt absorb body oil which is y I gave it 2 stars but I won't buy again at $15, its not worth it

This could be good for you, but...............
I can't get my cushion to stay while I put my mask on. I must confess, I have progressed MS and things tend to be more difficult. I always put my mask on myself, but with this cushion I need help. Help isn't a problem for me most of the time. When I get this put on properly I still have trouble. This thing slides around during the night. The next morning I find it in my bed or inside my mask, but not where it's suppose to be.I bought this during a time when my mask cushions had my nose hurting and red from the tightness I needed for my older masks to stop leaking. I found that when my new CPAP supplies came, my new masks worked fine without this "nasal soft CPAP cushion- blue...........Please. Keep in mind that this is only my experience. It may be just what you need. Regardless of how you plan to address your issue, I wish you the very best without the trouble I had. Remember, I have MS and somethings just don't work well for me..

Finally no more air blowing into my eyes
I tend to sleep on my side and my mask would leak air directly into the corner of my eyes causing them to dry out. I have tried tightening my mask, got a CPAP pillow, both helped but did not solve the problem. This cushion when properly positioned stops the leak, problem is getting it positioned properly. I think if the strips that straddle bridge of you nose were slightly wider it would be easier to position. When I try to put it back on after a restroom visit during the night without a mirror or a light on it is hard to center the pad under mask, if not centered it makes the leaking worse. if it were easier to position I would give 5 stars! I will buy another when I need to replace this one.

This product is very comfortable and does not hinder a sufficient seal
padding my nose for my cap mask

Product is thin
I ordered this product type thru my equipment company and this item was almost half price. I got this and was happy to see it is colored blue. My other product is clear/opaque and difficult to see. I have lost them because it’s clear and difficult to see. Only drawback is this is very thin, about half the thickness and sometimes when using, the bridge of my nose is red (which this is supposed to prevent). I would use this as an extra cushion if I lose the other.

Great idea for most people
I have tried to use it and it just isn't large enough. I have the full face mask but I have a long face. If the cushion was a bit bigger (longer in the nasal part to reach my forehead) it would be easier to stay in place. I would definitely buy another one. It would be so great to have the better fit for no more marks on the bridge of my nose.
