do these bags retain the butter /oil or does it leak through? Thanks

This is your basic paper bag.... Oil and grease will go through if you have excessive oil and grease... However its perfect for just your normal popcorn with a slight butter flavor.

how wide is the top opening of the bag? Will it fit the "Paragon stainless steel Popcorn scoop" sold on Amazon?

Bag measures 3.5" across. We use the scoop that came with our popcorn machine (Great Northern Roosevelt 6010) so I don't know if the Paragon scoop will work or not. I actually prefer the 2 oz. popcorn bags...the 1 oz. bags are really small.

I don't know the dimensions as I don't have them with me. But they hold about a cup and a half of popped corn. Which is about 2 good heaping handfuls.
