I needed a new impact driver as my current one was starting to show its age. I searched high and low on Amazon and found myself coming back to the Ingco range.I read reviews and searched the internet about the brand and overall it seemed as though they were a good brand for not just for the money but also had a reliable range of tools.Although this was bought as a gift from my wife, I am writing this review as the user of the product. I did have an issue with the initial impact driver, this being that the chuck would not release properly meaning I could not place a bit inside and it wouldn’t seat correctly.I contacted Ingco and they could not have been more helpful. They asked for a short video of the problem and straight away arranged a replacement and I stressed to them that I only needed the body not the batteries and charger. This arrived within 3 days and the replacement so far is faultless.To the driver itself, it feels great in hand and I love its power. It says its 285nm and I do not have a rig to prove this and to be honest nor do I care. It has a silky smooth action to it and drives screws in effortlessly. Its compact enough not to feel cumbersome but heavy enough to feel well made.The 3 mode settings also is a nice touch allowing you to choose how much power you can apply, most of the time I have this set to high, but being able to choose between them means you will also have an option depending what you are applying it to.The LED light is actually quite bright and is angled slightly upwards, may seem trivial but so many power tools have a LED which most of the time only illuminates a small area close to where you need it, this one being angles means its pointed directly at the drilling area and is wide enough you can see it clearly.As for the batteries, this is supplied with 2 2Ah batteries and a charger. I charged both before use (they did have some power on them on arrival) and the charge time was about an hour for each, so happy with that. Being that Ingco have an interchangeable battery system between the range means that the batteries will also work for any of their power tools, and if you are anything like me, that’s a big bonus. The battery life seems good and although it's early days of use, I am loving them so far!For under £100 for the set, I do not think you can go wrong. Off the back of this I have also bought the brushless drill and impact wrench (of which there are separate reviews).So overall, a brand with great customer service, a power tool range that is affordable and battery interchangeable, and tools that deliver on performance. I will be buying more.

I had a long standing Dewalt that had failed and was looking for something a little cheaper but they would (I would hope) last. I bought this as it was neither too cheap or expensive but have been pleasantly surprised how good the build quality is as well as the performance. Having renovated a home and needing to secure floorboards with FloorTite screws it has shown how well the battery lasts (and comes with two). It’s comfortable to hold and balanced in its weight. When using it for harder jobs over a period of days, it had taken this sort of work without showing any signs of issue. My only complaint is the silly zipped bag it comes with - feels like something you’d take your lunch in to primary school.

A very good impact driver. I've used it to build my shed and decking. Was reluctant to purchase initially as you can't go wrong with the major manufacturers but so far it's been solid. Feels and looks right and has a feel of quality about it.

Unbelievable build quality and power.This is equivalent, if not better than the DeWalt impact driver at half the price.Ingco have arrived and they're shaking up the market for sure.Battery life is excellent, over 100 60mm screws done with one 2Ah battery with plenty to spare. I had the extra battery on charge, ready, but wasn't even needed.

This isn't Dewalt quality and for the price I did not expect high quality but this driver is much better quality than I expected. The battery lasted the entire day when I was building my shed which meant I didn't even need to use the second battery.Torque in either high or low speed is impressive and made the job so much easier than doing this with the budget driver I bought from Homebase. I would recommend this to anyone needing a budget impact driver and not wanting to pay premium prices.
