Works and easy to install
Simple installation and for anyone new to installing these here's a quick rundown on what to do.1. Open your ILM (the metal case that holds your CPU down)2. Place your CPU in the socket, pay attention to the arrow key3. Remove the ILM, note the screws are finger tight and shouldnt need much force to remove4. Place the Thermal Grizzly contact frame down5. Replace the screws that came with the frame or re-use the ones that came with the Mobo - Only screw them in finger tight, roughly the same force as the screws you removedThat's all there is to this

Nice little bracket.
As with anything Thermal grizzly makes the quantity is great fit just perfect. They even include a separate set of screws. It might be a little pricey, but they are the only one to have this size socket bracket at this time.

Well made - but cheapened witness marks.
I get perturbed when a manufacturer downgrades a product over an accounting desire to save a penny. This product is well machined and fit perfectly - but the rotation marks they advertise on the metal housing and the witness marks on the screws were absent on my product. This is a bad decision on their part as over torquing the screws is a serious problem. They lose a star over this. Otherwise, it is ok. Can't say I'm pleased with the price either. That said, I'm keeping it, but would look to purchase another brand next time.

Thermal Grizzly is the brand name. This is not a bear that's taking temperatures.
Ever wish your CPU could chill out without breaking a sweat or bending? Enter the Thermal Grizzly CPU Contact Frame for Intel 1851 V1 - the unsung hero of processor pampering! This little wonder is like a tailor-made suit for your CPU, ensuring its “cool” factor is optimized without any of that uncomfortable, sloppy pressure from a standard ILM.Wrought from snazzy anodized aluminum, it boasts a special inner contour designed to smooth out those pesky concave curves on your CPU’s heat spreader. In layman's terms: it gives your chip a gentle, yet firm hug, making heat transfer so efficient that your processor might just start signing autographs for all that free cooling. And the best part? Installation is so breezy it makes assembling IKEA furniture look like rocket science - no Ph.D. in computer engineering required!Compatible with Intel Core Ultra Series CPUs sporting that fancy new and soon-to-be obsolete LGA1851 socket, this contact frame turns your PC into a zen master of temperature control. It’s the secret weapon that takes your CPU from being a hot-headed drama queen to a cool, calm, and collected performer.

Thermal Grizzly Contact Frames improve thermals for CPUs
I have used various contact frames for my last few builds. Thermal Grizzly products are always high quality and they didnt disappoint this time. I did not test temperatures without this contact frame, but if it is in line with the last Intel based system I used one on, I saw a 5 degree drop using a contact fame versus the stock mechanism. I won't build without one now. They go in from the start. The frame reduces any bow or flex in the CPU from uneven pressure due to the spring loaded mecahism the stock motherboard manufacture provides. This provides a more even contact surface for your cooler to set on. That allows the cooler to do its job better and pull the heat away more efficiently. Installation is easy. Make sure you follow the torque specs to ensure an even mount and enjoy the reduced temps.
