EARTHQUAKE EA2F 36-Inch Long Earth Auger with Fishtail Point

This is a great bit, unfortunately it may be a little under built as it bent slightly after drilling about 50 holes. It doesn't come with the spring as noted in the advertisement, however, it drills so cleanly its really not needed.

I have used this auger for a short time, digging about 50 holes. We are in the middle of winter with some frost in the ground, although not as deep as is customary. Even with a few inches of frost, this auger is well made and performs just as advertised, if not better. I will have a better ides of durability in six months, but for now it is meeting or exceeding my every expectation. Well made. Seems like a very quality product in my brief time using it.

The auger bit has a hex head key to attach it to the auger but it doesn’t come with the hex key! I use the earthquake auger. All the other bits have a nut and bolt. Also the bit is very soft and bent after a few holes in regular soil to plant small seedlings.

Brand new, shipped properly. Works well.

Works great and is sturdy. I did have to get a new nut and bolt to use on my non listed auger(the nice one provided was to thick for my unit), but it was an easy fix.

This auger bit bent at the shaft head, where connects to the transmission shaft, on the first day of use. Must have been a defective unit, but we'll see with the amazon replacement.Typical asian quality, so be realistic in your expectations.

This bit is fantastic on my auger. It chewed Alabama clay like it was nothing.

Worked as it should.

The drill works good. The fishtail tip is not strong enough and wore out after several hole drills.
