This lock is decent. It was ready to install; you just need a junior hacksaw to adjust the length of the bolt. Getting the key to turn in the lock is a little fiddly and it doesn't always go straight in first time. But once it's in, the action is smooth and the lock feels secure.

Didn’t fit as well as the original, but my husband made it fit eventually.
Didn’t fit as well as the original, even though they were supposed to be the same, however my husband made it fit eventually. Please be aware of this incase you are not too good at DIY.

Won't unlock
Lock installed on garage door and worked fine for about a week. Now temperamental and frequently the key will not unlock the unit. So now I am no better off than before I purchased this item.
