Good product
This is a nice ruler and it is worth having it as it helps with 90 degree angles but I noticed there are some not so even spots on the edge. A bit of sandpaper work solves the problem but one should not have to do that. Still is a good ruler.

Makes life so much easier!
The fact that it is transparent and has clearly marked grid lines makes it so very useful for sewing and drawing/drafting projects. The fact that the width of the lines varies, with the inch and half inch lines being wider, adds to the ease of use. I bought this one to replace an old one, and was pleased to discover that the same ruler was still available after 30 years!

Great 2” ruler
The media could not be loaded. This is a great ruler to have! Love the pink lines on it for it to guide me on my cuts. It does get tricky to “read” if it’s on a printed fabric (like the table cloth on my video” but on solid fabrics it’s easy to “read” (like the pants on my video for example). All in all, I use this quite regularly. It’s great to have and at an awesome price as well

and doesn't seem like it breaks easily
This is VERY thin and flimsy just in case anyone is curious. However, it works for my purposes, so I don't mind. If you're looking for a more heavy-duty ruler, you might want to get the more expensive ones. It feels durable still, and seems to be made of a thin plexi-glass material, and doesn't seem like it breaks easily. (Although I wouldn't suggest trying to bend it to test it out.) Great inexpensive ruler, and I'd buy again.

Very convenient, not the best quality
I love the convenience of having this ruler. I keep a bullet journal, and I want my lines to be straight. Since I could be anywhere quickly drawing up a chart or something, I love that I can keep this in my bujo, either in the back pocket or wedged between any of the back pages so it doesn’t obstruct my writing. I wanted my ruler to be small, transparent (to see exactly how it’s lining up), and I always prefer higher quality products. I bought this in March 2019 when this product was less than $5, and, even then, I felt it was a little pricey for what it is (you can get a clear 12” Westcott ruler for a little over $1). However, with some exceptions, I’m of the mind that you often get what you pay for. As I planned to use it regularly, I figured it’d be an investment of sorts. I wish it were a better made. The edge is a bit rounded at corners which bothers me a bit when I need to draw a longer line. It’s not a huge deal obviously, but something to note. It also has some nicks and scratches already even though it’s always in my journal. I wouldn’t say that it’s worth $7+. That being said, it’s super convenient, I get quite a bit of use out of it, and don’t plan on replacing it any time soon.

best craft ruler ever
These rulers are the best! I have a variety of sizes. From a 6 inch to 18 inches. I bought this one as a replacement for the one I bought 20 years ago which finally faded to the point that it was harder to use. I also had damaged the edges by using it with an x-acto knife. Don't do that. And my kid had snapped it in half, was back together with packing tape. But when you think about it, 20 years is a long long time for thin bit of plastic. This one is just as nice. I use it for crafts, and sewing, and scrapbooking, and all that stuff. It makes getting right angles and 45 degree angles a snap. I can make a set of parallel lines in no time. I can layout the lines for matt boards in no time. The centering bit on the center line is one of my favorite parts. I hope they still make these when it is time to get a new one in 20 years or so.

Most useful drawing tool
I carry this with me at all times in my sketchbook! It is so incredibly useful for sketching and measuring proportions. I used to measure in the air using my pencil as I was taught in art school and this is so much better and more precise. You can look through it and measure objects against the grid and then use the same grid on your paper. and it’s easy to change sizes this way. The way the grid is broken up it’s easy to make things double or half the size as life or even do a fraction like 3/2 the size of life.Constructing complex scenes is so much easier with a transparent ruler.Incredible tool

Perfect for quick straight lines
I use this ruler specifically when I need to make one or more straight lines parallel with the edge of paper. The transparency and the grid make it very easy to do so and I'm not spending time carefully making sure I'm lining up a ruler on each side of the paper to mark both ends exactly, and hoping I got it right so that the line is truly parallel to the edge of paper. This makes it quick and easy. The grid also makes it easy to quickly find the center of the line.
