Q: Will this hat fit a 8 year old kid?

I think it’s more an adult hat. I mean it can be sized down with the Velcro strip, but I don’t think it would be small enough.

Q: Is the Chief wahoo hat real?

As far as I can tell it is. I bought it in response to the cancel culture assaulting our everyday lives. I'm not from Cleveland nor am I really a baseball fan. I guess I'm just not politically correct. BTW, I also have a Washington Redskins koozie. Hat looks nice and I get many compliments on it.
