I recently had an operation that made sitting down a bit tricky, it has since eased but this cushion makes a real difference to my comfort when sat at my pc, and allows me to sit for longer than I can without it. I do suffer from a damaged coccyx and again, this eases the pressure. It’s a shame that it is a little too large to carry around with me though, butnthen it probably would not be good at its job.

Seems to be designed for a cheap "bar-stool" style office chair, rather than the larger "gaming chair" style of office chair.It's significantly smaller than the seat of my chair, which makes the cusion feel oddly constraining.The "memory foam" is so-so. It's comfortable enough of its own, but is initially firm enough to raise you significantly higher than the chair on its own; but if you adjust chair height down to compensate, you end up having to readjust it back up a few minutes later when the foam has compressed.And this is going to be an inconvenience that you have to deal with regularly.The sculpting of the foam makes sense for an upright posture, but doesn't necessarily work with the lumbar support or padding already built into the chair you're using it with; or if you want to adjust your seating position in your chair from that upright office-work posture.The manufacturing is good, the removable covers for the foam are well made and convenient.

I got this as I regularly suffer from back problems after spending too much time at my PC and although this is only anecdotal, I can say this has definitely been relieved after using this cushion.The cushion is made of memory foam and it starts to bounce back almost immediately - it was quite satisfying taking it out of the vacuum packaging and see it 'remember' it's shape.It's slightly smaller than the seat of my office chair but I think that actually forces me to sit properly on my chair, with my back against the upright of the chair - I actually see it as a positive.In summary, it's definitely more comfortable and supportive using this than my office chair alone.

The cushion arrives vacuum packed so it will need 15~20 minutes after opening to expand to full size - do not worry about the fact it is all rolled up, it truly does unroll to perfect shape without any need to straighten it. Just give it a bit of time.Comfort wise, the harder your office chair is then the more effective this becomes.If you already have a comfy/memory foam office chair then all you will gain is a little extra height. However, if you have a hard seated office chair then this works absolutely perfectly as intended.At the asking price this does come across as being a bit expensive but it does exactly as described and for extended periods of sitting down this really does help with both posture and comfort.Yes, I do recommend

I can't tell you how many cushions I've got through since starting to work from home. It doesn't help that my "office" is also my "man cave"; suffice to say my backside is planted on the same chair for a lot of the day. A cushion of some sort is a necessity.This one is definitely a high ranker. Arriving vacuum sealed (as most do) - I'd give this an hour or so to puff up into it's ultimate form. Dropping this on my chair I just sank into it - gorgeous. While it's memory foam it's the heavier type that gives you support and doesn't feel like it's 'squishing' if you move around a little.The reverse side is quite chunky with rubberised dimples that help it grip when on smooth surfaces (like office chairs). The top side is a thin stretchy material (I'm presuming it's nylon) that feels fairly durable however I would have liked to have seen something a little more hardwearing here for the price (£29.98 at the time of review). The cover is removable for washing though.Quibbles aside I can't grumble at the comfort though.

I am a self employed bag maker and spend quite a bit of time hunched over my sewing machine. I ordered this cushion to put on my sewing chair and it has really helped with fatigue. I find that I am no feeling the urge to get up and have a stretch or pop and make a coffee nearly as much as I did without it. The hole for your coccyx and lower spine helps relive pressure and although I do not suffer from any major back problems it has kept me working for longer periods and getting more done.It is quite a firm foam and holds its shape pretty well keeping the support where it needs to be. There are grippy beads on the bottom to stop it slipping around and the lip at the back seems to help you hold the correct posture.Anything that keeps me making money for longer periods is a good thing in my books so it's a happy five stars from me!

I had high hopes for this, it’s still day 1, however there is no support at all, I sit on it and it just flattens, feeling like I could have just saved money and stuck with a normal cushion.
