Worked in Old Ballast, Very Bright Compared to Flourescent
We installed the IHYCTV 21-inch LED F13T5CW LED Replacement Bulb in our kitchen under-counter light to replace the fluorescent lamp that was there.The fixture has a ballast, and it's about 25 years old.The lamp worked fine with this older ballast and cast a much brighter light than the fluorescent it replaced.On this fixture, the pin orientation was such that the back of the LED lamp could either face the front or the back, but not on top. We installed it so the lamp was facing forward, and with the fixture cover installed, it was fine.The lamp's aluminum back makes it stiffer and easier to install than the flexible all-plastic noodle LED lamps.
