DID (Does) exactly what i want(ed).
I listen to a lot of old recordings. Plays from the 40s and 50s + recordings of WW2 news radio broadcasts. So i wanted something retro to play the sound through on my desk. For that this is perfect It's not loud but loud enough. Surprisingly heavy for its size and the sound quality if fine no distortion .One issue pay attention when plugging in the USB for charging. If a red light does not come on then the plug is not in correctly. If it starts making a double beep then the battery is low. I emailed the supplier HanDing with a question I got a reply in only a few hours.UPDATEShortly after posting the above the USB port failed completely making it impossible to charge so i returned for a refund.
