Bye bye Pests, hello Peace
The media could not be loaded. honestly, itās been a massive help around the house. Super easy to set up ā just plug it in, and it starts doing its thing. Took a few days to notice the full effect, but now the little critters seem to have packed their bags and left. No more ants in the kitchen or buzzing mozzies in the evening ā itās brilliant! What I love most is how safe it is. No need for traps, sprays, or any of that messy business. Itās pet-friendly too, so I donāt have to worry about my cat getting into trouble. The range is decent, covering up to 115m², but youāll need one per room since it canāt go through walls. Iāve got a couple around the house now, and theyāre working a treat.

Works Well - No Smells or Audible Noise
The media could not be loaded. Great set of four pest repellents. Not a great deal to be said about them really other that they work. Set up couldn't be easier, all you have to do is plug them in and then observe the reduction in pests. The plugs don't make a noise that I can hear or any sort of a smell, clearly pests don't like the noise though. Since using them I've seen a great reduction of pests in my Garage and Shed. I primarily got this set just for those rooms, however as the set is a pack of four I've added one to the Kitchen and Bedroom. I've notice a lack of spiders in the Bedroom and no fruit flies in the kitchen. I' really happy with these devices, they clearly work and can just be left in to do the job. Also I have dos and cats, neither have been bothered by these plugs.

I hope they are working
It may still be too warm for the winter migration of rodents so it is difficult to know if these devices work. Still, I have not seen the signs so far. The signs I notice are bait blocks nibbled and the occasional carcass in one of my traps. It was Carl Sagan who observed, "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absenceā. If there are no beasties and no sign of beasties does this mean the beastie repeller is working? My web research suggests the effectiveness of ultrasonic rodent repellents is a topic of debate. It seems ultrasonic repellents have a temporary effect on rodents, causing discomfort but the effects are short-lived. Rodents adapt to the sound, so in the long term the noise makers stop working.Ultrasonic effectiveness is influenced by the environment, such as furniture and walls. These can block the ultrasonic waves. On line experts recommend using ultrasonic repellents in conjunction with other pest control methods such as sealing entry points, maintaining cleanliness, and removing food sources. In summary, the consensus seems that ultrasonic rodent repellents might offer some short-term relief but they are not a standalone solution for rodent control. Combining them with other pest management strategies is usually more effective. My experience so far is these repellers are working but I have to wonder for how long. One suggestion would be for repellers to use a range of different ultrasonic frequencies.

Great at repelling flies.
The media could not be loaded. This is great at getting rid of little flies. I have a small pond near by and yet lots of little flies so I got these to see if it will stop them coming in the house and they have been pretty successful

Look good and discreet - unsure if they are effective
Our detached garage quite often gets 'visitors' especially as the weather turns colder. I thought these might be a good idea to prevent this. They are small and discreet and emit a soft blue light to let you know they're working. They also don't seem to emit any audible noise unlike some (and I tested with the youngest child with better hearing than I).However.... I'm not convinced they work. We usually get field mice in the garage, with these plugged in we had a family of rats decide to move in, despite moving the unit very close to the area they looked to be trying to nest they came back as bold as ever to steal bird food. I'll reserve judgment for now.

I'm quietly hopeful...
I've had mixed results with these devices in the past in a previous house. The basic idea is to emit a high-pitched squeal that's beyond the hearing range of humans, but uncomfortable for the invading insects/rodents.You plug these in and wait: There's a slowly pulsing blue LED to suggest it's working, and opening it up the circuit certainly is geared to emit noise, but you can't hear it so how do you know? All you can do is wait and see if the problem clears. In the past - with a different device in a different house and rats - it did indeed work... but they seemed to acclimatise after a while, and later returned to their normal behaviour. My problem now is different with spiders and flying insects infesting an old 18th Century cottage (and I'll bet an odd mouse or scavenging rat!). I'll have to wait - typically several weeks and more - to see if these devices fair any better in deterring/eliminating the invaders, but I'm quietly hopeful.Power consumption at 240v I measured at just 1 watt each, so they're cheap enough to run too.
