The shoes were comfortable for the first ride and my insoles fit perfectly. I've picked up a couple miles per hour in speed as a result. The is pretty close to perfect for my feet. Toes have just a tiny bit of space, heel is not loose, and my instep is snug but not pinched.

I think much of this is likely due to the rigid outsole, which I believe more directly transfers the power from your legs to the pedal with no wasted energy from any bending.That said, I do have to disagree with some reviews claiming these are just as comfortable as walking shoes. Yes, for short distances at a time, these will do just fine, but for anything more, the rigid outsole will start to feel a bit unnatural.
