The blocks aren’t too hard to break open and the stones inside are shiny and look like quality stones.

I ordered this for my kids. We’ve done other ones similar to this so I know they are going to enjoy it. I love that they use different colors for the “dirt” and that the gems are all different and colorful. It also comes with a gem chart so they can learn about each one they discover. I highly recommend this advent. Something different and fun this holiday season.

This is a fun Advent calendar and the gems are really cool for kids to collect. I bought that gem Advent calendars for my 4-year-old granddaughter and seven year old grandson and they love them. The tools provided for breaking open the blocks that contain the gems are a little bit difficult to use because they're not very strong, other than that it's a fun idea!

This is tiny. I assume the rocks will be tiny as well. I guess you get what you pay for. It was the only advent calender that would come in time to begin opening it on Dec 1st. (I ordered it a week and a half before the end of the month)That being said, my 5yo loves rocks and will love it even if the rocks are tiny.

I gifted to my nephew who loves gems digging and he said he LOVED it! Great price and loved how versatile the gems are, would def recommend

I purchased this advent for my 9 year old. She wanted a non-chocolate advent calendar and chose this. Unfortunately she got many duplicated stones! Super frustrating and made the situation not enjoyable.
