Nice size chunks and very tasty

Nice large chunks of white meat chicken. It smelled must less offensive upon opening than the big name brands I buy. I liked it so much after using 2 cans that I went back and ordered 10 more cans which was the maxium allowed. I wanted to order 6 additional cans for my mom in a seperate order but Amazon would not allow it, I suppose I reached the maximum for the day or week or who knows. With the 10% off discount after purchasing 4 the price came out to $1.29 per can for the 10 cans currently on order. That's just 4 cents more per can than for Dollar Tree canned chicken plus it comes to my house free because I'm a prime member. If you like the convenience of canned chicken please do try this Amazon Brand, I was very pleased with it. I made a delicious chicken salad with one can and a chicken parmesan pasta dish with another, both yummy. This canned chicken will be great for cold pasta salads, in soups, in casseroles, with chicken gravy over rice or mashed potatoes and I can use it to make chicken patties too! Great tasting versatile and handy item to keep in your pantry.

Not bad. No weird additives like potato starch. Or my favorite, tapioca starch, which I'm mildly allergic to. Be surprised how often that stuff shows up in canned chicken of all things. Flavor is weak but it's chicken, what do you expect? I put it on salad and it works.

UPDATE: Shipping on the last order was very slow. I ordered on Jan. 10 and received the order on March 6 -- almost 2 months. Also, the price has gone from $1/can to $1.29 (as of March 11, 2025) but has been as high as $1.59. The chicken has been out of stock for short periods over the past two months.Both the slow shipping/out of stock and the price rise could be due to the flock culling from the avian flu. That's the same phenomenon that is responsible for most of the egg price increases. If so, things should improve once the flock has been fully regenerated. We'll see. If the price comes back down, I will buy again.PREVIOUS REVIEW (DEC. 2024): This canned chicken is at least as good as any that I buy in a supermarket but much cheaper. Pull top can opens easily. Product is very tasty and zero problems with it.The shipping is weird, though. I ordered 30 cans and they were delivered in 18 different shipments, most of which were 1 or two cans, distributed over nearly 2 weeks. Sometimes I received 2 - 4 packages, each with 1 can. This made it hard to keep track of them (although I believe that I received the entire order). You have to wonder if it wouldn't have been less expensive for them to just ship the entire order in a single box. Must be something else going on here that I don't understand.Anyway, I like the product enough to order another batch soon. Let's see if the shipping process improves.

Freshness in a CAN? Man who knew? I have tried all kinds like chicken of the sea, bumble bee, and these can’t compare. I will say I used to prefer the taste of the others but that was before this. I have made chicken salad, pasta salad and cucumber salad with this and it is affordable and fresh and in my mind the best.

It was ok a lot of water not filled with chicken all the way but was ok .
