Heller Tools 927 Cutting Paste, Drilling Paste, Grease for Working with Metal, 50 g, Yellow

I used this with heller hss 5% cobalt drill bits to drill through hardened steel. Makes a big difference compared to not using it and keeps the bit sharper for longer. Much less mess compared to a cutting oil. Brilliant.

Great product, makes drilling and tapping on a lot easier, only downside is lid is soon broken.

I bought this in a last ditch desperate attempt to fit window blinds back in to a recess after having wooden windows (which the blinds used to be screwed in to) replaced with UPVC, which I did not want to screw in to. So I had to drill upwards in to what was clearly steel lintels. Armed with some new HSS bits, some self tapping screws, my low speed low power cordless drill, and this stuff, it took me 10 minutes to fit two blinds. Amazing the difference this can make. Just low speed and gentle pressure, it took no effort at all. After drilling 4 holes through the steel, the bit still looks new, and the self tapping screws glided in to place and yet are holding the blinds absolutely firm.

Really handy addition to my tool back when out in the field. No messy oil based fluid to leak everywhere.

Nice consistent paste. I didn't need much for the end of the HSS Drill Bit & I didn't need to dip the bit again while drilling. There was a definite difference between not using the paste before and now using it; the effort seemed less & more effective (really).There's not much more to say to be honest, but if you value your drill bit & success, then buy this.

Works well. Used on stainless and aluminium, less of a mess than oil. Works like a lipstick, twist the bottom and it pushes up the wax to the top.

This was a great edition to some cobalt drill bits kept the drilling process cool and aided the cutting process
