Great introduction to chapter books for my 7 year old
My son is 7, almost 8, and he tears through these books. I bought him the 1st one last month and he finished it in 2 days, so I bought him a few more from the series, he has re-read this one twice already. Its a fun, easy to understand chapter book and he has been able to recap the entire book to me at the end. Definitely a great introduction to chapter books for a 7 year old.

... is in first grade and has recently fallen in love with the Jack Stalwart books
My son is in first grade and has recently fallen in love with the Jack Stalwart books. These books have a super hero agent with lots of cool gadgets. He travels all over the globe. The stories are full of true, geographical information the reader about the areas that Jack travels to. We have started marking the places on our wall map and writing notes about the special things that happen there. These are great books!!!

grandson approved
I took a quick look at this book at Amazon site... seemed like something our twin 7 year old grandsons would enjoy ... adventure and learning combined ... turned out to be an instant hit ... they asked to continue the series ... one commented how he especially liked that the first chapter of next in the series was included in the book ... that got his interest sparked for the next adventure..

Great for young readers!
My 7 year old son loves these books. I purchased books 1 through 16! The stories are well written. He enjoys reading them and I enjoy listening; his dad has to listen to a different set of books because I don't want to miss any of the story. I recommend them for 1st and 2nd grade advanced readers!

Secret Agent Jack Stalwart Books
I purchased these books for my great nephew. His school has an "Accelerated Reader" program. He reads a book and then takes a computerized test. He has read all the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books so this was something new for him. He really doesn't like reading so far, but I'm hoping these will really catch his attention.

My son loves this series!
Perfect for 2nd grader. Most of the words my son can read but there are some challenging ones also. It's also nice that the stories take place in different countries so he can learn little facts about them.

No slang, dialog is easy for a kid to follow - decent book for a kid learning to read.
I gave it 3 stars instead of 4 because Jack Stalwart always has some far fetched gizmo to solve whatever problem he faces.

Start collecting this series of books!
A very good book to read , so far the best book in the series! What I liked best was when Jack used the smoke gun to blow smoke all over the evil captain to make her get knocked out and the bits I didn't like was when Alfie had an arrow shot in his leg by the evil captain. My mum said she will buy me the rest in the series!Shayon aged 8 years old

Bring on the next one!
My 6yr old boy loves this series and is now on the 6th one of the series - can't get enough of it! He finds them gripping and exciting, both to read to himself (few new words to challenge him every so often which is great) and to be read to by an adult.Would highly recommend them.

Great
Perfect book for a boy of 10-years. Who had already read one book out of sequence and wanted to read the rest, perfect for grandparents needing to by presents. Interest was also helped by the fact that the book also had a web site for fun.Books were taking about 2 weeks each .(Bed time only)
