Our little one bought a set as a birthday gift for her older brother. (They're 20 years a part.) As he doesn't live with us, and they use it almost everyday. She loves it and he really enjoys being able to communicate with her without her having a phone at too young of an age. Great gift idea, and fun way to communicate without phones.

these lights are a great way to stay connected with someone without needing to message or call them...you each setup a device at your home, choose a color for each other (you can actually setup multiple people to connect with, giving each a different shade), and you're done! when one of you presses the device, the other's will glow the associated color, letting them know you're thinking of them

I got this set for my daughter and I to keep in touch. We are very close and I am in Nevada and she is in Oregon. This is such a nice way to send a gentle reminder how much we love and miss one another. Very easy to set up and to install the app by following the enclosed directions. We even set up "secret messages" that have an assigned color for that message. I can use my smart phone to tap a color (red for I love you) and her light will turn red. When she gets home and sees the message she can tap a color on her phone or tap the top of the lamp and my lamp will light up letting me know she got my thoughts and can send me her own color message. I got these lamps while I was at her house for Thanksgiving so we got to set them up together and see what the other one sees. Such a cool idea. This would have been such a fun Christmas gift but I chose to set them up together now. The lamp is very pretty and would go in any room. You can adjust the light brightness so you can put it in any room. You can also select times not to receive messages so it doesn't disturb you. The lamp is a white glass you can't see through until a color comes through. In the app you can customize any of the lamp colors. It has a wooden band around the bottom that adds a nice touch. I highly recommend these lights!

These Luv Link lamps are a unique way to stay in touch with your loved ones who are far away. They are easy to use, app is user friendly, and there are no subscription charges. My only issue is that they need to be plugged in at all times, rather than having rechargeable batteries.

A gift and a good one too, for my son and his Grandma. He works a lot and his job has long and crazy hours so even texts are tough to get out sometimes, but this is conveniently set up by the door to let Grandma know he is home safe or to say good morning on his way out. the app is glitchy occasionally but mostly it is pretty awesome, although it is pricey.
