The banter from My Lady Jane meets the London aesthetics of The Parent Trap in this romantic comedy. Originally released in 2022, the newest edition of Don't Be In Love will put you in the heart of London as a university student. When twenty-one-year-old, career-driven Adelaide Adorno decides to transfer to one of the most prestigious universities in the world, London's Townsen University, for her senior year, she couldn’t be happier. Moving to London granted her new friends, a gorgeous apartment in the city, and a chance to work in luxury marketing. Until she meets Dorian Blackwood—the youngest of the prominent British family known for their impression on the entertainment industry—who's plastered across every tabloid in Europe for his famous parents, handsome look, and notable dating life. He’s not only a student at Townsen University but the person her new best friend, and roommate, is absolutely in love with. Which is how Adelaide ultimately becomes twisted into a deal with Dorian to keep their secret. But just because Dorian agrees to keep their secret doesn’t mean he’ll make life easy for her. Every lavish gala, photographed event in the city, and excuse to wear an expensive gown becomes a risk for their secret to come out. With Adelaide’s friendship on the line and her future career at risk, she’ll do anything she can to avoid him. Which should be easy for someone who doesn’t date, let alone believe in love—right? Review: What’s not to love💙 - Adelaide is determined to work hard for the life she wants. She dreams of getting the job she’s always wanted and creating a place where she truly belongs because she grew up without a real sense of family. Her dad left when she was young, and after her mom wasn’t fit to be a parent, her aunt took her in. Because of everything she’s been through, she’s terrified of letting people get close. She’s so afraid they’ll leave that she keeps everyone at a distance so it won’t hurt when they do. But then she moves to London and meets two girls who become her best friends( really family ) Then Dorian enters her life, and no matter how many walls she puts up, she can’t help but fall for him. The way he described her, the way he remembered the little things she said, and the way he gave her a blue London telephone keychain because the red one didn’t feel right just showed how much he paid attention to her. He truly saw her. She was so scared that he wouldn’t choose her that she kept pushing him away, but no matter how much she pushed, she always found her way back to him because of how deeply he loved her. She made him see the world differently. Colors felt brighter when she was around. Words meant something different. He didn’t know what love truly was until he met her. He is absolutely head over heels for her. The pining? Oh my gosh. He is completely lovesick, and at first she wants nothing to do with him. I loved the little moments, like how he walked her back to her apartment after work every day to make sure she got home safely. The scenes with the umbrella and her birthday had my heart melting. The gift he gave her for her birthday was so thoughtful and special that it had me tearing up. I absolutely loved this book. It gave me all the feels I cried, I laughed, I swooned, and it gave me butterflies. And the scene where he looked at her while she was wearing that dress? He didn’t even have words. To be looked at the way he looked at her is something truly special. This whole book was amazing, and I cannot wait to read Liana Cincotti next book💕💕💕 Review: Instant Buy! - This book was amazing, I'm really glad I came across this book on tik tok! I hope this book gets picked up for a movie, because I will def put this in the rotation in my rom-com movies!

Recommended rom com
Absolutely love this book🤗 Just from reading “picking daisies on Sundays” first, it got me excited to read this one and like I said I love this book🫶 Definitely a rom com and I do recommend reading it if you’re into romcoms, it is pretty easy to read, which I like in my opinion

sweet!
It’s a cute story! Kinda put me in a reading slump but that could’ve been graduation too. It just kept reminding me that “My Oxford Year” is SO good. A completely different story but Adelaide reminds me so much of her. I thought Dorian’s character had some fun hobbies like painting and picking up cute key chains for Adelaide but why not just send Victoria a text that it was really over? Idk not my favorite but still a great story of you haven’t read “My Oxford Year.” Maybe it’s unfair to compare the two stories but it’s still a good read.

Surprisingly Banger
I absolutely HATE miscommunication tropes. Despise them. But I will say this book was so cute, and a good palette cleanser from heavier books I’ve been reading. Surprisingly such a good read, would recommend if you want a fast and easy read :)

Liana Cincotti is truly an amazing author! Just the way she creates a world in her books transports you into the story. This truly felt like I was transported to London with the characters! 5⭐️

Such fun vibes
I absorbed this book in one sitting! The overall vibe of the book was so fun. I absolutely love everything British and studied abroad in England like the main girl (minus the hot Brit romance). Absolutely recommend!
