Nite Ize SpotLit LED Collar Light

Great light. Small, portable, fun colors and easy push button functionality. Throw it on a pack or a dog collar for extra visibility at night, or turn a tent into a mini dance party. Light gets a lot of comments and compliments when in use.

Exactly what I hoped it would be. We have a 1 year old Chinook and a 9 month old Wolf who love to run around and play in our pasture at night. They play hard and rough with each other and these lights have held up perfectly.Since they’re puppies we really need to keep an eye on them and when they’re out running around in 5 acres of fenced pasture after dark when its cooler out it was impossible to tell where they were. We set one light red and one blue so we know which dog is which at night from a distance. 5 acres away and the lights are still bright and very visible. I know if I see the light stop moving by the fence line they’ve probably stopped to try digging under and can get right on top of the situation. Its also really fun to watch the lights zipping all around the field at high speed as they chase and roll around in the dark. I just clip it on where the leash would attach on the back of their harness. If you just clip it under the neck on a collar it isn’t nearly as visible unless they coming straight toward you.I was a little concerned about the mentions of battery life. I suppose if you just left it on all the time it’d be an issue, but we just use it about 1-2 hours each night and a month later we’re still on the original batteries and they’re still just as bright as the first day.I don’t remember if they claim these to be water proof or just water resistant, but fully submerged pond swimming hasn’t had any effect on them. The only complaint is from my wife, its too hard for her to squeeze them to turn on/off and over time it has seemed to get a little more difficult, but don’t get me wrong, we still love them.P.S.Ignore the review complaining theres no included instructions. The very simple instructions are printed right on the package. Its not like its a complicated device to begin with.

I recently moved to one of those "middle of nowhere" places where there are no street lights (or lights from anything else), no sidewalks, and roads so rough an narrow they make some driveways look like a runway. And my dog and I like to walk at night... So I purchased this little light and it has been great! It is VERY bright, and I like that it can either cycle through various colors (I feel like this is the most visible) or be locked on one particular color if you so choose. My only minor complaint is the battery life - at around a one hour walk most nights, the batteries last about a month for me. But the light is small, so the batteries are small - can't fight physics. Fortunately the batteries are cheap, and if I find I get sick of changing them, I will spring for the rechargeable version - which is very cool that they offer. Realistically, unless I wanted to hook a full-sized lantern running on full-sized batteries to my guy's harness (and he's big enough for that, but come on), this is the perfect size and amount of light for its purpose.

I purchased this for a nighttime walk with my 30 lb black tri border collie because some parts of the neighborhood get dark and my dog is mostly black furred. I loved the pink light, it was easy to put on and not too heavy to hang on her collar all day. It does require some pressure in push to turn on. Now, because of the small ~1.5in diameter of the light, I couldn't see the light when my dog's back was turned against me because her 30 lb frame would cover it. So if this will be an issue (wasn't for me), maybe consider an LED necklace type light for your dogs! Like a lot of the reviews, the light didn't work its full function when my dog played actively/rough with my other dog. When I opened the light case, it seemed like whatever inside isn't fully glued in its place so I might try to figure out on my own if I can fix it with some glue or smtg, because it was $9+ and I loved the color and how it works :)

Works great only warning is do not leave this on your pups collar 24/7, only when you walk them at night. one of the lights clip has broken(I both two) as I left it on my pups for a week and either through my pups playing or a snag it pulled one side of the clip out of the hole and it will not stay in now. I can probably fix it I just need to pen the end of the metal clip part so it cant pull through the hole. but other than that it works great.

I have a black dog and often take walks before/after sunrise/sunset. This light gives peace of mind that my dog will be easier for drivers to spot, especially if he were to somehow get off the leash. It’s also handy when I let him out in the yard at night- I can see where he is in the yard.The clip is very sturdy. I do have a little bit of a hassle removing it sometimes, but I’d rather that than have it be insecure. I don’t care for the color changing feature personally, but it would be handy to “color code” if you had multiple dogs. You can choose to let the colors continuously change or you can stop it on a single color. There is a clear white option, which is what I use. The color feature does work as described and each color is vibrant.According to the package, the battery will only last for 8 hours, however the battery can be changed. I’d prefer a longer run time- the previous collar light I had lasted almost 40 hours. However, since the battery can be changed I feel it’s still worth the money.My only complaint is the light is a little heavy. I feel it’s too heavy for my cocker spaniel mix to wear on his collar full time. It’s not like it’s a huge weight around his neck, but it was heavy enough to affect how his collar hung, causing it to rub on his neck. This is no problem while walking but I feel that it could cause problems long term.

Simple . I got one for the dog and one for me finding my keyhole at night is easy. My dog is visible , there is a steady light and stobe. I would buy again

The light lasts a long time before needing to recharge. You can see the light clearly from a distance.

This is exactly as advertised. Great product. East to use. Has great changing colours and is very bright and easy to see your pets outside in the dark.

Ahora si me siento cómoda con mis perros en el parque en la noche . No se me pierden . La pila dura bastante . Buena compra !!

Fuimos de campamento y me sorprendió lo mucho que nos sirvió para ver a mi perro cuando se alejaba. Prende bastante bien y se alcanza a ver bien a distancia. Mi perro la tuvo puesta varias horas durante la noche y pudimos irle cambiando el color de la luz.Es ligera y se ve que es resistente a golpes.
